Caterham 160, steelies as standard smile
I love the way these look and I would love to try one some time, but for me forced induction in a 7 is a big no-no.

Would love to have a 1600 x-flow with the skinny wings, wheels and tyres though.

Hi,
Just wondering if this is for sale?

Thanks
Charlie
I'm afraid not - can't see I will ever sell up!

I bought it through a member on this forum, I kept an eye on it for about 12 months for the right one to come up:

Might be improved with minilites, although original steels are just fine

I'm still pleased with the effect on mine, although I like the original alloys too.

Partly posting because steel wheels, partly because what is it? http://www.autoblog.com/2017/01/26/volvo-xc90-pope...

XC90 with steels, and a stretched wheelbase and a load of metal fixed to the roof?!?

Article suggestions are weight testing for a commercial version, or a Popemobile.

My Favourite Steelies.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. Alloy center, steel rim (or vice versa) I believe?

The (also partly steel) 550 wheels are also rather tasty imho.

Come on folks, more steelies please.

1969 Road Runner with a 440 cu.in motor.

Hemi 'Cuda front wheels and 9" rears if I remember right (way to small to handle the torque!)

Speaking of steel wheels, mine aren't looking that great these days...

Can anyone recommend a powder coater in the East Midlands? Someone who can deal with a fair amount of rust...

Cheers!

The pic I originally posted in 2015 had gone due to photo bucket debacle,so a new one was required.

Late to this thread, but yes, I love steelies. As well as pictures, does anyone recommend any makers/websites.

The painted steelies and chrome hubcap look seems so right on muscle cars. Here’s another...
