I agree, we are scummy. I'm thinking of coming clean and handing myself in to BiB as I have removed the pedal rubbers, Christ knows what would happen if my foot slipped off. I'm therefore not insured so therefore illegal.
As it is a guest driver in thin soles could get a hurty foot FFS!

Also seeing just how shocking some peoples accessory fitting is, a "simple" 12v socket could if wired incorrectly be a fairly big fire hazard.

I still cannot believe that people with zero mechanical skill are free to be let loose on their, or their friends cars to do anything they like, such as brake pads or steering related.

Yep anyone can set themselves up as a 'mechanic' and start doing that sort of shoddy work daily as a business too! A thread on disastrous 'garages' but it would be a very long one.
