Im surprised that Land Rover havent taken action against the Chinese but in all honesty they would probably pay no attention anyway.

I wondered why Aston didn't say anything when David Brown automotive first came out with it.

The Chinese don't care... BMW sued a company for a car that looked the same similar to an E53 X5. BMW lost as the judge said it was very different.

Seems this car started out life as a Jaguar XKR Convertible, unless the plates off one have just been stuck on it.

Saw the thing 'in the metal' at Goodwood, really didn't like it - it's retrostyling gone wrong. Let's hope they are stopped just so they can't produce any more awful looking creations!

Surely this car would have looked better if they really used AM design material!

There was a lot of publicity around the car being created by a different David Brown. I never saw any reference to his company having worked for AM. Is it his company which is being sued, or is it a subcontractor who has done design work for him?

The Chinese 'X5' cause a lot of stir in the past because of one particular shot of the rear of the car where the styling did look a bit similar, but having since seen the front/sides/interior the two cars really were not that alike...

Shuanghuan SCEO

No more similar that the original Hyundai i30 looking a bit like a 1-series from the rear.

Jesus, it's taken them a long time to notice the grill on the Fiesta... Oh, no, sorry. My mistake. It's not Ford.

The SCEO is powered by a choice of two 4-cylinder gasoline engines and a diesel option: a 2.0-litre producing 82 kW (111 PS; 110 bhp) and a 2.4-litre producing 100 kW (136 PS; 134 bhp).[3] A 2.5-litre diesel option provides 75 kW (102 PS; 101 bhp).

Hahahaha! laughlaughlaughlaugh
