Got this back -
Hi,

First of all we want to thank you for your interest in this car. I've almost reached an agreement with a potential buyer. Unfortunately, it looks like there are some problems and he doesn't have all the money to pay, for the moment. The car is still available for sale, it is in extremely good condition,100% HPI Clear, full service history. Currently I am on a business trip to Italy and will have to stay here for about 6 months (this is why I am selling the car for a low price and I am looking for a fast sale to finance the Italian project ). I left the car in Greywell Transport custody ( www.greywell-transport.co.uk ) and they will handle the sale for me. The V5 log book is already signed on my behalf, the car will come with 2 keys, all service records and previous MOT's. Greywell Transport will deliver the car directly to your home address and I will pay all delivery expenses.

If you are interested in purchasing the car just contact Greywell Transport department that handles the sale directly at: info@greywell-transport.co.uk and they will assist you with any questions you might have regarding the transaction

When contacting the Greywell Transport please specify my name ( Jane Ward ) and the car make and model.

Thank you

company sends you an invoice requesting payment - no phone contact available (convenient) and company registered in April 2014 despite claiming to have made more than £3,000,000 the previous year.
Yeah it's a scam - hopefully no one gullible enough to fall for it!!

Yes it's a scam!

Just got the same email reply to an add for a Mustang, except they clearly forget the names they use. The add said contact Elaine, the reply came from Jane.

The add then disappears, except a new one has just gone up, still for a Mustang, different pic, same story. Imported from Texas blah, blah.

Glad you didn't fall for it, but I did send em a nice email .... Nice try Beavis..... Regards Buthead!

Address seems to be residential area of Northampton, phone number is Coventry, possibly Nuneaton but doesn't show as belonging to anyone. Fishy.

If you believe an ad to be a scam, hit the 'report' link alongside it and the PH team will investigate. smile

Definitely dodgy! We also received the same letter asking us to get in touch with Greywell Transport and another from a company called MNT transport. We phoned Greywell, address Aintree Road, Northampton and spoke to an Italian guy. When we said we wanted to come and see the car they hung up. Never send money before seeing the car.

Do they have an email address we can spam? May drowned out any genuine enquiries and save somebody from sending cash to these cumrags.
