MkII RS2000 sold in 1983 and replaced by
Capri 2.8 Injection sold in 1985 for a house deposit. rolleyes
Bought another 2.8 Injection once I got the mortgage under control but sold it in 1990 to buy a Granada Scorpio - what was I thinking?

If I had held onto the last 3 cars I sold until today I would be £10-15K better off frown

So the trick is if you see me selling anything buy it! its going to be a sound investment.

I found out via Jaguar Heritage that it was a one-off. The only example ordered in Turquoise with Terracotta Leather.
I just hope it has been cared for since I parted with it.
You can't keep 'em all. Mores the pity.

My first Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth. Loved that car and it would be worth a fair bit by now.

Then as normal cars, i wish I'd of kept my vRS Octavia and my Rover 820 Vitesse Sport. To name but two.

The first owner of VEX 6L was my grandfathers best friend. He owned it from new until the mid 80s. Has it still got the after-market Alpinair air conditioning that would make a penguin shiver?

My S1 106 Rallye. All original seats, engine carpets etc, low (ish) mileage and not rotten. Sold it for £700 as I couldn't afford to keep it at the time.

I once owned an absolutely immaculate 1988 BMW E34 535i Sport. Had been dry stored, owned by the same owner since new, full service history and low miles. Beautiful car.

I was young, didn't really appreciate what I had and sold it for peanuts to find it on Ebay a few months down the line for a few grand more than I sold it for.

The only car I ever look back on and genuinely regret selling and not even because of the money, it really was a lovely motor.

Found it via the FreeAds yellow paper, the guy was old school didn't like all this internet advertising stuff so he advertised it there and it was up for sale for 4 weeks with me being the first to look at it, as yoy can see I snapped his arm off.

Lotus Elan Sprint DHC sold it for £12000 13 years ago now worth £30000+ frown

I was glad to rid of it at the time, it was the unluckiest car I've ever owned.

Nowhere near as impressive as most of the above but my 1999 Saab 9-5 Aero.

It was only £600 and superb. There does not exist another car for £600 that was as good as that!

That is just it really, does not have to be rare or flash. I had a Vauxhall Omega that I paid £250 for, it was nice but the fact it was so cheap put a smile on my face every time I used it.
