It's justifiable as they sell every last one they make. What makes you think the engines are so poor? Genuine question?

My Mrs has a 190bhp diesel one and it's not an NVH masterclass but it goes well enough. Can only imagine the new Ingenium engine is a step up.

As I said, I'm clearly not their target customer. For £50K I'd want a LOT more power. £50K is a lot of cash for a 4-cyl engine.

You can get a well specced Dynamic for nearer £40k

£50k would get you in well specced Macan or X3 35d
