You are right, it was one of this firms trucks.I know that junction well, just along the road, quite a few fatalities around there and a few hundred metres down the road the truck came from myself and a mate almost got taken out by a lorry pulling out whilst we were on our bikes.
That is no way a junction you should be thinking about pulling out from without stopping, the prick needs his licence taken from him.

Can't believe he didn't notice he'd put a motorist on the verge in his mirrors and stop and apologise/check all was ok. At the very, very least a flash of hazards to acknowledge a mistake. You did well to avoid that, although there are obviously some clairvoyant driving gods on here.
Wildcard, but could the lorry have been stolen?

I'm all ears. People do like to over exaggerate & forget how safe modern cars are.
He could plow into the lorry at 50 & his seat belt & airbag would save him.

The thing is that is well known Junction for fatalities and the lorry would have been dropping off wood at the wood pellet processing factory just down the road, the driver would know damn well that he should be stopping before pulling out, in fact the road has a change in elevation so no excuse for not stopping, very dangerous.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
