Monumental wuckfittery on his part, sure, but you didn't exactly foresee the inevitable, did you?

Christ, the suspension.

Is the guy better off trying to hit the lorry?

I take it the insurance has no interest if there is no contact.

I hope the poor sod reported the asshole driving the truck to the police. He needs taking off the road.

If you pause it, you can get the name on the lorry easily enough.

That needs Police involved IMHO.

Why was that inevitable?

You might have expected the lorry to pull half across waiting for the car to pass, but the lorry driver was blind. Not sure if he even realized he'd done it as the driver didn't hit the horn.

Because he was showing no sign of stopping from quite a way back from the junction.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the snow/ice on the roof that came cascading down the windscreen

Impressive stopping by the camera car on snowy grass, I expected a slightly more dramatic result when I saw the lorry not stop.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We have been made aware of the video and are investigating. We will be making some inquiries.”

I hope they throw the book at him as that could have been fatal.

Snow on the roof not withstanding that's a very lucky escape there. Another day that could've been a horrible smash.

Lorry obviously in the wrong, but video makes it look like there was little or no serious braking until very late. It was obvious at ~0:25 from the speed the lorry was carrying that it was never stopping for that junction.

Hope he gets prosecuted though, it's not like he even seemed aware (or cared?) you were there at all.

Christ that was close!

Well done for the evasive actions required.

I dunno; I've had more than one instance of when I thought someone wasn't going to stop / hadn't seen me, I've taken evasive action and it turned-out to be unnecessary.

Not good driving for a professional, no excuse but I'm wondering if at the point the truck driver decided he would just pull out that the camera car was out of view behind the sign
Totally wrong still

WOW .... Did the lorry even see you!? In the video it looks like he's only looking to his right?
