OK oh trackday king, do continue to grace this thread with your presence and trackday experince hehe
I don't think he has quite worked out yet this is competition not a track day, and that the 2 things are a bit different.

The question is, will NewExigeS be a thread withdrawl kind of moron or a 'furious back-pedalling whilst trying to maintain face and appear correct' kind of moron.
Neither, it will be a 'ahh, ok, fair enough' kind of moron.

This guy is passing around corners, running off the track while passing, bullying people out of the way. Idiot.
I know, shocking. That kind of driving is quite out of order at a non-competitive event. Oh, wait....

hehe You cheered me up on a rainy day, at least you admitted it!

That Cortina pass put a bigger grin on my face though!

This clip is one of my all time favorites on youtube. Only challenged for the top spot of best 10/10ths driving by this clip:

Too close to call. I've had to watch both many times just to be sure wink

Car looks almost out of control unless going in a straight line...

Great gear changes up and down.

One of the best videos I've seen in a long while. Absolutely epic, does not hold back at any point.

Not sure if anybody had posted this other vid. Same car/driver/track, and I assume same year.

A bit less traffic, maybe even more oppo. And Blanchimont (scene of the Cortina overtake) is frankly super-scary

And here's how he looks at Eau Rouge from trackside:

re. comments about car set up. The 911 will be wearing "historic" spec tyres, and that changes everything.

Pre 1965 cars race on historic tires.

I spoke to John Felstead. He told me a 5 litre M6B is more than a handfull of secs quicker than a 5.7 litre M6A, due to the tires. Tires are everything in historic racing.

The Spa 6 hours weekend is a must watch event BTW. There's nothing like screaming 911 battling thundering 350GT Mustangs. I believe Chris Harris got the itch to race a 911 this year.

No Galaxie in that clip.

He did pass a Ford Falcon though, just after Eau Rouge wink

Great clip and another reminder just why old cars are so much more fun biggrin

I love watching the in car footage from historics. This one below is a favourite because of the sheer level of grade A, 5 star mentalist driving from Al Buncombe biggrin
http://youtu.be/aoXzmejj6hg

Makes the 911 vid at Spa look tame in comparison.
