Skid pan session near Bristol?
Discussion
I would like to take my daughter, who has just passed her driving test*, on a skid pan session preferably near Bristol. Is the operation at Castle Coombe any good? Are there better ones elsewhere, preferably within shouting distance of London.
[small]*How she did is beyond me. This is the child who as a learner when faced with a police panda car entering a roundabout she was already on, at 730 on Easter Sunday morning, swerved off the roundabout into the oncoming lane of a dual carrigeway. Fortunately the only damage was to his McDonalds breakfast. Gentlemen you have been warned.

Castle combe is a pretty good set up. You do a bit of theory work before going near the cars.
Once in the cars you get to sample front and rear wheel drive and practice braking plus turning before building a bit of speed. It's only a small course but enough space to sling a BMW around in figure of eights :-)
