I can't imagine that I'd buy a £200k car even if I could afford one but if I was going to for some reason, it'd probably be the Noble. The electronics-ridden mainstream supercars don't appeal in the slightest.

Mumble grumble blah blah, bet it has no cup holders either, rubbish car.

What has become of PH? hehe

I think the M600 is the closest thing to a modern F40 you are going to get...
A magazine article I read said it was just that - As pure as an F40, but better in every single way. Since then it is the only super car I have REALLY wanted. Black please!

This. Although I suspect most buyers don't care about long term reliability, or the cost of replacing dodgy electrics in the future, easy general repairs, or other down to earth matters. Long term is next year, when they will have traded into the next must have scene car with the right badge.

As a car lover who wishes I had the funds, it would be a Noble M600 all day, everyday.

The M600 is 509 bhp/tonne
458 is 378 bhp/tonne
911 GT3 (latest) 329bhp/tonne

Enzo 477bhp/tonne
Zonda F Clubsport 521bhp/tonne
911 GT1 524 bhp/tonne
LaFerrari 706bhp/tonne

The M400 is within the second group its vastly quicker than a 458 similar price but with the pace of cars a few leagues ahead.

Incredible - didn't realise it was that brutal
Surely at them speeds it's not all about the numbers tho, there all brutality quick,

I'd be buying purely for pleasure not for pub bragging rights, it's the same reason I'd choose a m3 over a Evo

The noble is a better car in every way that say a Huracan but the Huracan will sell a lot more!
I know this place is full of deluded rose tinted specs wearing folk, but this is just an absurd statement in every way.

Which kind of backs up my point, you can use a lot more of the potential performance in the 458 or 911 compared to the M600... It's not vastly quicker at all, on paper it simply has a higher bhp/ton figure, you need to be a skilled driver to do anything with that power though, otherwise you at as well just have a 200 bhp Clio....

But the point is clearly that sort of individual is catered for by the other mainstream cars which is perfectly good - however for those who crave 911 GT1/Enzo/Zonda F etc levels of performance in a back to basics car where there are no gizmos stopping you from getting it wrong you are properly connected to the road.

Also it has 3 modes
400/450 Road use
550 track use
650 race use

So you can select the map you wish - build up gradually as you learn the car and your own ability.
I'm sure you could have plenty of fun in it at road setting but its nice to go to 911 GT1 levels of performance if you wish.

On a you tube vid - I think a Chris Harris one, an x LeMans driver who used to race group C cars in the late 70's took this car for a proper drive on track and said pretty frankly if this had of existed back then he could have turned up to LeMans and been right at the front of the race from a factory road M600. Incredible.

Lack of ABS is not a plus point IMO.
Yeah, I bet it has one of those manual stick shift things, too.
