I don't think it is just anti- sexual discrimination but also post; Jimmy Saville, Rotherham and Oxford child sex abuse rings, anti grooming legislation etc. When you say 'barely legal' how did they determine how old the 'girls' were, just asked them with no need for ID?

I used to buy it (or Redline) back in the day when I was at school. Tbh at that age it was just as much about the girlz as it was about the cars (in the same way FHM was read for the 'articles').

Very fond memories of my max power readership days, and also great to see some Uno Turbo appreciation on this thread! I have my mk1 in the garage awaiting restoration.

I've been clearing out old mags and found some copies of Fast Car, Revs, Max Power etc. it's the adverts that show the age of the mag; but who didn't want a K&N 57i and a Peco Big Bore 4 or Magnex DTM back in the day?

I even had a sun strip in my old Uno Turbo.

Anyone else buy some crap audio equipment from Bass Junkies?
