Afternoon guys,

My dad is looking to purchase a fairly high end motor from a garage 'Mayfair Prestige', as it's a lot of money, we're just looking for any reviews or experiences anybody has of this place?

Their offices are 200m from my home in Bryanston Square. Always see cars parked along Seymour Place but have no knowledge of their trading background and whether they are anything more than brokers. They do not have any servicing facilities as such in the area and I would want to have any car inspected by a specialist before handing over any money, regardless of 'what the history is'.

I thought they were brokers too by the looks of it, the car my dad is looking at is due a service & he has said he would only want main dealer history if he was to buy.

They seem to have a lot of high end stuff for sale, so you would of thought they must be brokers as nothing is photographed on a forecourt at all.

I know they do not return phone calls and are rather rude on the phone, when they are on it.

If your dad is looking to buy a high end car with manufacturers service history he would probably be better looking at the manufacturers own website for a pre-owned version. He will almost certainly pay a little more but if the car in question is true high end he could end up saving a lot of money against a non franchise buy with a 3rd party warranty that could prove to be full of holes if a decent sized claim is put to the providers.

Does anyone have any real world experience, apart from the phone calls of dealing with them, are they reputable etc.
Their website has the standard, 'we are great at what we do etc.'
However the last deal my dad went to do on a similar car went sour, so he's being extra careful this time, being on PH helps as i know it's a wealth of knowledge & i want to be able to help him out as much as possible.
