Yes, assuming the previous RS runs on MPSC with the 13 year tyre design and compound technology. wink
If I remember correctly the 7:27 from the RS4.0 was on the MPSC1, where this will be on the MPSC2. From what I've read the tyre change alone would account for the 7 seconds at least.

Both the GT3RS & the GT4 look and sound technically superb - if I had the money, I'd be glad I had a choice (but I don't sadly).

I love the race car without the sponsors look of the GT3RS exterior - & the colour as well as lack of graffics.

Simply awesome - love those front vents. Would still want a 997 4.0 instead though...

Needs some graphics IMHO to stand out from the "normal" GT3. Might be almost too subtle in a dark colour.

I had no idea the love child of David Gower and Kilroy developed the GT3 RS.

Am I missing something? Same power and torque as the previous 4.0 RS but heavier. And only 7 seconds quicker around the ring on newer tyre tech. Of course you'd need a fortune to get a 997 4.0 RS but this isn't really a step forward.

Also it's not the same without the decals and lairy colour combos,

What's happening with the Cayman GT4? Is it a limited-run special or an option in the range now?

Looks decent, although I wouldn't be worried if I had an old GT3 RS

Seems it will be a standard production car but in limited numbers, if that makes sense...

Boring.

Back when they started with these - 996 GT3, 996 GT2 - those were special cars and really interesting.

At least it should be more fun than the 991 I've used on track.

Why a Turbo body?! confused
Wider track, more grip, more speed, quicker lap times.

993 didn't need graphics

It will with most likely be an option in the range going forward, definitely no limited-run special but the Porsche RHD car allocations are a bit strange so you could call that version a limited special. laugh Expect about 2000-3000 cars to be built.

More weight too and I'm not convinced that the 991 GT3 RS is quicker than the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 given equal circumstances and tyres.

What a bargain - RHD List price will be lower than the current market price for a 2nd hand regular GT3 laugh
Strange that, one is at the wrong price.
