Looks great. Thrills even while still. My only hesitation remains the anthropomorphic eyes (headlamps) that Maranello has favoured of late.

I immediately thought "Gallardo" on the first shot. I am sure it will be incredible to drive though.

I'm in the "modern Ferraris leave me cold" camp (apart from the LaFerrari, which is astonishing when you see it in-person and nowhere near as awkward as they look in pictures). Granted, most modern cars, period, leave me cold.

The two things that bug me about Ferrari is they haven't made a truly beautiful car since the Dino (and that wasn't even badged as a Ferrari!) and the fact they got rid of the one thing that I always dreamed about: rowing through that beautiful gated shifter. I don't care how fast these new cars are, I just wish they could build cars like these again:

I know it's not possible due to numerous asinine regulations, but it's my opinion.

Is it unrealistic to predict a price beginning '2'?

I'd have one for 20 something grand... wink

Am I doing this wrong or is PH's coverage of motor shows absolutely useless? Could the photos be any smaller? Are they worried about taking up too much internet?

I like it visually though not as much as the Mclaren 675lt.

I think that red (and maybe that lighting) hides alot of the lines, I prefer this color I think:

The door handles don't work for me, but apart from that it is lovely. The name 488 is screaming out for a GTO edition

At a glance I thought you were saying that the pic was of the Mclaren, and I thought it looked fantastic.

Then I re-read and realised my mistake hehe I agree, in that colour it looks stunning.

Well for what its worth I like it much rather have this than McClaren 650.
No such thing, learn the rudiments before posting nonsenserolleyes
Surely RedRoadster means the 650s McLaren? Hardly qualifies as nonsense for a minor typo. In fact your post critiquing it is worse!

Re Downforce:

Ferrari will be racing this at Le Mans and in GT3 the world over, so I guess it has to do something for the homologation regs.
