I've seen some wheels I like, trade seller describes them well. they have been refurbished but states on the ebay ad technically perfect and tested for runout'

The price and postage is fair, just a bit nervous, I like to able to take something back if not as described. Is the ebay buyer protection good for stuff from abroad?

What do you think?

Read their returns policy carefully, if they do returns and pay the postage back then I don't see why not. The only protection you have from eBay is if the item isn't delivered/not as described etc. Returns are determined by the seller.

Yes they have a 1 month return policy, full refund but not for the return courier.

I bought a set of winter tyres and alloys from a company in Germany on Ebay, turned up about a week later by courier no issues at all, emailed them first before buying them to let them know I was in the UK, got a reply in perfect English, unfortunately it wasn't the guys you are looking at.

Again, same here. Bought alloys from Germany on two occasions. Sellers were excellent both times

It's just like anywhere else, they're not automatically more trustworthy just because they're German. I've bought alloys from both eBay UK and EU and never had a problem, but I've probably just been lucky wink
