I had ordered from Oponeo in the past and was delighted with the service.
Needed a set of tyres just before Christmas and saw that Tyreleader were slightly cheaper, sent them 2 emails which they did not respond to, so I went with Oponeo again and tyres arrived within 5 days, great service.

Also Oponeo and Tyreleader are cheaper than Camskill/MyTyres/black Circles etc with free delivery to the Highlands from Germany, the British companies want a tenner per tyre to deliver here.

I've had 10+ orders from Oponeo with no problems. I've usually found them to be the cheapest as well.

Hi another recommendation for Oponeo.

I have used them twice and both times they have been the cheapest and most importantly have delivered within days, no issues, a good company and a good website which is easy to use.

I had a similar load of nonsense with Tyreleader.

It took ages to get them to sort out their mistake.

They told lie after lie about having despatched tyres, contradicted themselves, sent an incorrect size for one of the tyres, etc.

Absolute crap.

I've never had a problem with Oponeo.
I've ordered from them several times. When it goes well (99% of the time I guess) it's all very good.
When it goes badly, it's very very bad indeed!

Poor communication and an unwillingness to deal with the problem. It took me 4 weeks to receive my 4th tyre in the end.
If three tyres arrive with a '1 of 1' label on them, it means only one parcel was sent! Even with emailed pics of the tyres still wrapped up, with this sticker attached, it took four weeks and dozens of emails.

Something stinks there!

You really need to keep everything crossed, then it'll be fine I'm sure .....

I used tyreleader recently and it was good. Lack of tracking info as to where the tyres were but I guess that's not really their problem. There are a few shocking reviews and it's up to you whether you want to take the same gamble!

Used tyreleader and very satisfied - they used Parcelforce and not some dodgy delivery company so full tracking available. Tyres were only a month old too.

I had an email back from Tyreleader, it wasn't very clear not really answering anything. So I've ordered from Oponeo, the guy on the phone answered my questions ok and I like being able to phone people if I need to.

I just want to warn people of something here.
I've contacted dpd on facebook now who have confirmed they have received no request from tyreleader for an investigation to be taken place whereas tyreleader are saying that they are waiting for the results of an investigation to refund me or to send new tyres out and have been doing so for the past 2 weeks!

The difference between good and bad isn't just about the experience it's about how problems are resolved

ive ordered form tyreleader previously. Got some Vredestein all seasons for a steal, they arrived quickly and the rubber was only 6 months old.

I tried to order from Tyreleader monday but their payment system was down so ended up looking on Oponeo

ordered 4 x Pirelli Scorpion ATR tyres for £86 each (they immediatley went up to £108 so must have been a price error)
Tyres are showing at dispatched but now heres where im worrying

Their website says their tyres could be upto 24 months old. They claim they store their tyres correctly, but if you have a quick browse to their "about us" page, you can clearly see photos of their warehouse with tyres piled on tyres all over the place. I contacted Pirelli today and also viewed the Continental tyres website and they both say tyres should be stored upright (without rims) with nothing stacked on them and rotated every 4 weeks in the rack.

Now this clearly isnt happening at Oponeo

So if you order here be very careful of the age of rubber they send you. Check the date mark on the tyre wall ie 2414 will show the tyres was made week 24 2014

Ill be checking mine if they are over a year old ill be refusing delivery especially if they have been stacked like that !!

Fingers crossed ill let you know what happens when mine arrive!

I bought a couple of Kumho KU36 from promotyres.co.uk. Don't be fooled by the .co.uk part; the site is registered to Germany/Bulgaria.

They were miles cheaper than elsewhere, about £56 a corner for 225/45 17, and arrived within 3 days.

They are cheap aren't they. Plus a contact number.

I'd never heard of them previously but thought I'd take a punt. I'm happy I did.
The prices dropped by about £5 in the space of two days, probably due to the exchange rate; I felt like the Wolf of Tyrewall Street, waiting for it to bottom out!
