Tyre leader is one of the great mysteries of the industry at the moment.

French offices, German offices, swiss offices, also distribute from netherlands.

They're definitely not British, that's all I know frown

Just brought 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and they came from Germany IIRC. All seemed fine though, dispatched and delivered quickly no problem.

Used Oponeo last week, ordered Thursday morning and arrived today Monday. Pilot Super Sports with manufacture date of week 45 of 2014. Very happy for a first online tyre purchase.

update on my oponeo order, 4th tyre still missing, oponeo less than helpful and in no rush to sort it out (ordered 2 weeks ago)

Contacted my Credit Card and got refunded for the 4th missing tyre immediately.

Ordered the missing tyre from Camskill on Monday night, tyre arrived this morning Nov/2014 rubber

Very happy slightly more expensive at Camskill but they are now the only online tyre company im going to use, very good service

Did you pay on credit card? If so I would phone them and get a refund on the wheels and buy locally, if you check your oponeo tracking you might find out the same problem as me, tyres were dispatched and promptly disappeared with no further tracking info on carriers site

remember to quote the 48 hour delivery advertised on the oponeo website, your cc will give you an immediate refund

The wheels arrived today so all complete. smile
I sent an email on Tuesday, not sure what the mix up was but looks like the wheels hadn't been dispatched (no tracking info)
All in all I'm quite pleased, emails answered and dealt with in a few hours and problem resolved.
I paid by paypal which probably was daft because I didn't get the credit card protection.

Update on my situation with tyreleader. Got in touch with my creditcard sent the forms they requested off the day after they would of received it tyre leader refunded me themselves -_-. Won't be using them ever again.
Over a month between ordering the tyres and breaching their own terms and conditions regarding max delivery times and refunds.

Was it really worth all the trouble?

Would you have been better off - emotionally - if not financially, shopping around somewhere within say, a ten mile radius of home for a company that could supply and fit?

I saved around £250 all in. The wheels were the biggest saving (£200), just buying tyres I would have sourced them locally.

Tyretraders will deliver to a local tyre depot(if they have one listed near you) and all you need to do is turn up and have your tyres fitted. Saves having to wait in for a delivery and no worries about finding someone to fit them for you. My local tyre place have said they'll never beat them so they might aswell take any work they can.

Tyregiant looks reasonable including fitting - uses halfords and cheaper than Asda scratchchin

If you're thinking of using Tyregiant pm Travis (he's probably on holiday again) you should get extra discount biggrin
They used a local tyre fitter, great service there.

Just thought id comment on my experience with TyreLeader -

Placed order for x2 Eagle F1's late Wednesday evening, they arrived Monday morning. (Probably would have come Saturday but I had them delivered to my work address).

Tyre price was £70 per tyre, delivery was free. Next cheapest site at the time that I checked was just over £80 per tyre so that's a happy £20 saving.

Tyres were date stamped 2014 which is great.

Fitting was £10 a corner at local tyre place - they're now on the car and all sorted.

Kwik-fit wanted £125 a corner fitted for the same tyres, so all in I saved £90 which is fantastic value.

10/10 for TyreLeader
