Can't believe some turds are giving the victim a hard time. They should hang their heads in shame.

Also why the hell are those faces blurred? Is there any use contacting the Police to find out why?

There was a little snippet about this in the metro this morning and it's all over Facebook too.

Really hope it's found

just watched the video and really hope you get the car back in one piece.

What a bunch of lowlife scroats - it does look like they knew what they were taking though and knew the value of the car

I don't suppose the scrotes are that clever. They've stolen a car they can't possibly sell in this country, and the car is worth very little as parts.

Its either going abroad pronto, or its destined to sit somewhere hiding, not making any money for said scrotes. What a daft car to nick.

Really hope you get this back Mark. A lovely car and a real credit to yourself and those who have done the work.

Most watched on BBC news app on my phone this morning.

It kinda reminds me of a cherished BMW 325 I used to have. I drove it home from the coast and parked it locked on my front drive. I went inside to go to the loo. I can only have been in the house a couple of minutes and came out to find the locks had been drilled and the car taken.

The police were informed within five mimuntes of it leaving my drive. It was a very distinctive colour with a specialised roof rack on top and three giant windsurfers with all the gear on padlocked straps. It was possibly the most easily spotted car on the face of the planet.

It beggars belief that either than car or yours wouldn't be fairly obvious driving any distance yet no one saw it, and the police never found it.

Have you spoken to your insurance about the offering of a reward. Can save them lots in the long run.
Is there any particular reason their faces are blurred in the video? It's not like it isn't obvious they're in the act of stealing the car. Usually you get a nice grainy close up of an uncovered face for people to try and recognise.

Best of luck getting the car back.

hi,
I cant really comment on that at the moment, but i think there is a lot more to come - watch this space. We have to let the police do their work, they are doing a great job. That was just one CCTV footage - there are lots of other cameras at the garage the record for weeks.

many thanks
Mark

As said, why blur the faces? As for the reward idea Shirley we can get a pot of some sort set up? Sure it would raise more than the cars value in donations for the pleasure of seeing these s locked up.

As a mate of mine (and a fellow petrolhead) put in response to my sharing of the CCTV footage on Facebook, it's like stealing a painting or a novel manuscript. It's so much more than the material loss, but the loss of someone's time, effort and passion. Truly horrible to watch.

I hope the car is found quickly and in a decent state. Someone must know who the scum are that did this.

Very sad news.

I really hope you get your car back. I hunted for mine high and low and it was eventually found.

Keep the heat on and remember it may be a long game to get it back. Don't give up.

Good luck.

The fact it is on Passionford means that most ford nuts will know about it now. I will still forward to some other mates who are very well connected in those circles (ford and rally fords).

Presumably because the footage is poor-enough quality that they just look like everyone else? You don't want a huge campaign like this resulting in 100k people ringing the switchboard saying he looks like some dodgy bloke who you once saw in the pub.

CID could have suspects already and don't want anyone who knows them and sees the video to tip them off.

Let's hope that is the reason, the car is recovered and the thieves get what's coming to them.

A fantastic car which shouldn't be lost to the world.

I really hope you get your car back chap, can't imagine how angry, upset and lost you feel.

I pray that the scum who took it don't realise how close fast ford owners are and decide to dispose of the evidence.

Chin up! Keep us posted, I have had the video hit my FB page now and will share it with my mates. I will also get word out to the TVR people I know.

My thoughts exactly. The vast majority of these sorts of car steal-to-orders are carried out by a tiny % of criminals, let alone the general population. It's very much a specialist crime & I doubt that these scrotes are unknown to the Police.

That is absolutely beautiful! Simply stunning. I sincerely hope you get it back soon.

As for those who took it, why are people like this even born? furious
