Why only car related stuff? I thought you guys were covering bikes now too (which frankly are a whole lot more fun than tin boxes, especially on our crowded roads).

How do I put myself forward as a presenter? Seriously? I've done a bit of car journalism and I've been on live TV quite a few times as a musician. I don't want to come across as a cock but, truthfully, that's next to impossible as I am an utter bell-end. However, as you'll find, that's sort of what you need if you're going to get this flying. Harsh, but true.

I will pay cash money to see Matt present something.
How much are you offering?
I'm in for a tenner. Lets make this happen people.

(Just imagine if we could get 300 to come back and do a video with Matt!)
Yes, crowd funding! In all seriousness I'll probably be thrown out in front of a lens before too long. Contain your excitement etc etc
Not you.

t'other matt has already done a presenting video, something off-roady IIRC

Ugh can't stand the editing style where the presenter keeps talking to the main camera but the shot switches to a side camera, seemingly just for the sake of having some extra edits in there. Really annoying to watch. By all means have some shots where the two of them turn and talk to each other's faces, but when he's presenting to the camera, leave the edit buttons alone and stay with the camera he's talking to please.

Well if it is somewhat like Petrolicious then that is fine with me.
Personally well writen articles plus excellent photography works really well. Throwing in some vids as long as they are wll done is great.

As long as the Reader Wives section is to supplement the content created at PH Towers then that is fine.

An overhaul of the comments section might be an idea as well. Though I like the fact that PH doe not rely on Chavbook for initiating and ciontunued discussion of topics on the website. The delay between the two works well.

Sorry guys but the first episode just doesn't do anything for me, in fact I was cringing most of the way through.

Can't wait for the 'Members videos' section to become a televised version of 'The Lounge'.

I'm surprised at this. I'm quite a cringey person when watching TV and I didn't find it at all cringey.

It had a great balance of entertainment and information, even the Volvo unboxing segment was decent (I did not expect that when I first saw the car hehe)

Really, keep it up and I will be watching the next episode. Also I'm no expert but I wouldn't be worried about specifics, like the audience clapping or the setting. Its like playing Doom and complaining a pixel on a door is wrong... Completely missing the point.

It looks rather professional!

Are you going to mirror these videos to YouTube as there's no way of watching this on anything other than a laptop/tablet.

As previously posted this needs to be on YouTube. If people can't subscribe on PH they will miss videos, you can subscribe with YouTube.

Not only would you not need to pay for hosting but there is a potential ad revenue.

Obviously you want to let the community to make videos and get involved which might be tricky on YouTube, but there is no reason why members can't send the videos to you via Dropbox or some other file sharing service and PH Towers could then upload them onto the PH YouTube account.

If they are on your pistonheads.co.uk/tv there is no way they will become popular or even viral.

As for the video, it's good. It'll get better with time I'm sure. Might be worth trying to make it less Pistonheads and more general car info/banter if you want non-Phers to get/watch these videos?
