The Saab cluster is wonderful isn't it, I've had two.I also like the S2000 dash as well, while it looks messy with the numbers all you see when you're driving it is thaqt big orange bar sweeping across the panel:
The 996 dash is nice and simple too:
I always seem to have cars with a nice dash display

80's Toyota : 1987 MR2.I had the dash out to adjust the redline on the tacho, dim the high beam indicator, and fit an oil pressure light, so not perfect from stock
Being old-school analogue instruments, the oil & water temp gauge needle position actually tell you something meaningful.

You didn't take off the 996 steering wheel just for the picture, did you?I also like the S2000 dash as well, while it looks messy with the numbers all you see when you're driving it is thaqt big orange bar sweeping across the panel:

Mine look lovely, but the speedo is bloody difficult to read. The speedo's legal part is about 80 degrees at the bottom. Fortunately, there is a large, legible, difgital speedo as an option in one of the digital displays. Mine is in the tacho. More recent cars have it on the speedo. I prefer I in the tachometer as it means that is the only place you need to look. Some seem to think the fact that the tach goes backwards is an issue. It isn't.

I like the trend that some manufacturers are following by not printing the KM/H speed on the speedometer which makes the instruments even clearer. Its a bit unnecessary given how little its used, and easy enough to show on the screen when required.
Agreed I had a FFRR loan car a couple of years back with this - not sure about the RR, but on some cars the analogue speedo will read either MPH or KMH according to the settings but using the same scale.
