Hello

So it's company car time. I need help.

Company will provide me with any car I want, plus all of my private and work fuel paid for, so MPG not an issue. Insurance also covered, as well as road tax and servicing and maintenance.

There are very few criteria.

1. Less than 3000cc and can be petrol or diesel. Turbos/Superchargers allowed, so long as 3000cc not exceeded
2. Four or more doors
3. P11D value of up to £40,000 including extras

Ideas so far.

a. BMW 335i M Sport manual
b. Audi S4

Over to you........

Pick which ever you will pay the lowest tax on.

Also bear in mind you will get taxed for the fuel card as well.

Not too fussed about the CC tax or the fuel card tax. I know that already. This will still be a virtually free car and the difference in tax between the BIK is not worth worrying about.

What a stupid thread. Can't you even choose a car?

People are just going to suggest all sorts of random vehicles which aren't suitable for your work / personal life.

ETA: As above rolleyes

The current 'Not-Impreza' WRX STI or whatever it's cool? Sounds like fun from the reviews i've read.

Audi S4 is a good choice, drove a 2013 Audi S5 recently and loved it, engine is wonderful especially when mated to the S-Tronic gearbox

Am liking this, but the base car is £39,950 and so it's gonna be completely poverty spec.

yes that's the only problem one I drove was also poverty spec and it definitely spoiled the car not having certain options like sat nav etc. Was going to mention the Insignia VXR as a alternative

Can you push the p11 value a little? S4 and 335i both come in around £39k before options

It's still worth playing around on here, as a whopping tax bill soon takes the shine off a "virtually free car"!

Colleague of mine did something like that - not quite so extreme, got a SAAB 9-5 Aero instead of a 530i - and his missus gave him hell about it. If he'd gone the whole hog and got a Vauxhall she'd probably have had him killed.
