Dimples in your engine ?

I've just come across a picture showing the inlet tract of an engine dimpled similar to a golf ball to reduce drag, and there are also valves available with similar dimples

I know a few years ago Mythbusters put dimples onto a car and showed a reduction in drag, so it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that this will actually work

Anyone else seen this ?
