The 991 GT3 RS has 'busy bodywork' with lots going on. I'm sure the team at Porsche mocked up multiple combinations before deciding the body didn't need (or have room for) additional stickers. I think a lower door decal would work, but a front wing sticker would clash with the front wing duct. Rear arch logos wouldn't work due to the turbo air intakes and even a stripe might look cluttered with the bonnet and roof channel.

I class the RS Stickers, from the Gen2 997 onwards as a visual embarrassment.
Where are they for the 991 RS? In the bin, where they belong !
For the final 991 fling, it looks like Porsche finally decided to start smelling the salts on the way their cars look and I am not sad to see the decals go.
Hi there - got to say I disagree . I think the RS decal thing is just so wrong it's right - completly naff , but strangely compelling cool & fun - I think they are a "tongue in cheek" signiture for the people who get it - not to be taken too seriously . As time moves on , they will end up looking more and more out of place and then slowly but surely they will start to look like a signiture piece from a rose tinted point in time - just like the stick , the hydrolic steering , the nat asp. engine , etc - all part of a golden high point in analogue motoring history . The 991 RS is too busy for loads of stickers as the crazyness has been "engineered in" to the body panels already - I think the new shape is also "so wrong , it's right " Again it looks like a boy racer has won the lottery and gone mad in Halfords - exactly like an RS should look - it's fugly but lovely - big want. Only thing I don't like are the plastic materials on the air intakes and the engine lid - the details themselves are fine - the quality of the materials aren't. Either way , I could think of nothing better than having a stickered up , manual RS and a "subtle" 991 RS to play with. Where are they for the 991 RS? In the bin, where they belong !

Dudes don't take the sticker thing too seriously - to me it's just an "in" joke for those in the know

The problem with the GT3 RS stickers, or cartoon graphics as I call them, is very simple to overcome. Simply ask the factory to delete them during the build as I did for my 2011 997/2 GT3 RS. They even had an option code for it - 26441 so I probably wasn't the first. You do lose the GT3 RS decal on the back but you probably could even ask for that to be retained. You still keep the contrasting colour but even that can be deleted.

But that is what the GT series are all about - raw power, noise, speed, attention, visual spectacle. At the end of the day you have a large plastic or carbon fibre spoiler and are often wearing Kermit Green, Riviera Blue, or Java Orange so an extra sticker or two makes little difference.Knob
Despite the busy vents and spoilers a script along the bottom of the doors would not go amiss.
