RE: Nissan Stagea Autech 260RS: YKYWT

Love it!
Surely the ultimate getaway car - plenty of space for accomplices, plenty of space for loot, massively quick, 4wd traction - and if you do end up in court, you'll have one eyewitness swearing blind they saw a Volvo estate, another that it was definitely a Subaru, the third that they saw a dark-coloured Mitsubishi - and you'll get away with 'wasn't me gov'

I wonder if anyone will actually pay £14k for a 15 year old Nissan, 500 bhp or not.
How much is an equivalent age Skyline?
Definitely think that Stagea is cool but be hard pressed to buy it when a nice 500bhp r32 is basically the same price (this car sold in days at same price basically) How much is an equivalent age Skyline?

That's a cool car but the dealer comment on suspension is quite alarming!
14 grand for a car with shagged suspension ?Don't most of these go for a grand on Ebay ?
This is a pic of the "standard" car from the Autech web site

On a more serious note replacement suspension wouldn't be expensive. I'd be tempted to replace the suspension on any (decent) car approaching 20 years old.

Agreed. If it was top mounts it should be an easy job to sort so why the hell haven't they?!? If those dampers need a rebuild it'll be a £1500-2000 job.
Or replace them with some decent new ones for around a grand.rhinochopig said:
