If anyone was intending to watch the planes fly past their location they have been delayed by 2 hours and supposed to take off at 14:00 now.

Got a shot of 3 planes over Dartford - In the air - No way to include the car on the ground!

Well I did try! On the map, two flights were supposed to cross the Thames at Gravesend - I know that there is a swimming pool and golf course on the site of Gravesend's war-time airbase so headed there.
Launch was supposed to be between 12 and half past, and they would be flying south to north so from 12:30 my car was parked, with custard in the screen, at the south end of the car park, and I was ready with a camera at the north end - The idea was to catch them as they appeared over the trees, hopefully above my car.

Unfortunately, by 2pm, we had still not seen any planes and rumours were spreading of delayed or cancelled flights due to weather, so I went to Bluewater to pick up a few bits from the shops - Just parking on the top deck of the car-park and overhead was the distinctive engine sound I had been waiting for - Abandoned the car, grabbed the camera and caught these three just visible above the shops -

Epic fail, or win for the brave effort? I am at your mercy...

I'll give you a win for the effort and I'm sure the car is probably parked somewhere in bluewater under there. Saw them come over me in Ipswich too, heard them a mile off biggrin
