The Fiesta is very competetively priced.
I know and i'm sick to death of boring other people and even myself about the bloody thing. Ford really have smashed it though.

I can't help thinking just how slow this new Adam is aswell. On paper it actually looks like it should be a hot hatch rather than a warm one, albeit it in the class below the likes of the Fiesta. 150BHP from a 1.4T in a car with such relatively small dimensions should be a rocket. But the numbers it produces say otherwise. Now i know that's not really the point with these cars and it's more about how it actually drives (GT86 springs to mind here) but it's about on par with the Fiat 500 Abarth, Twingo 133 and Suzuki Swift Sport there or there abouts. Even the previous gen Fiesta ST with the NA 2.0 lump is quicker. They've completely missed the point of these cars and the it's obvious downfall seems to be its weight. Rather than making it lighter with a bit less power they've upped the power and kept it a porker. Well done Vauxhall nono

The Fiesta does seem to be a very good car.

Having said that, I'll be interested to see a proper timed test of this Vauxhall, assuming that a mag does one. Maybe it'll be a bit like the VAG 1.4 TFSI engine in that it performs a bit better than the manufacturer quoted figures
