RE: Ferrari F355 GTB: Spotted
Discussion
I think the 355 looks fantastic in that colour although I am of the view it looks great in almost any colour. In my opinion, one of the best Ferrari designs. However, the main reason I want one is the noise. Clip here albeit I can't find the full length version of this video so it's a very short snapshot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0HuKhYXNQU. No doubt not standard but, even so, it sounds amazing!
How low did the prices dip on these a few years back? - Did I imagine it, or were they around the £30 mark?
ETA: Ignore me. The Lotus Exige 260 v Ferrari F355 link pretty much answered that for me.
I've been looking at 348s the past 12 months and they seem to be creeping quickly north

If a and old sports beetle popular plus is 125, 250k, then 64 grand for that lump of gorgeousness seems pretty good value to me.I've been looking at 348s the past 12 months and they seem to be creeping quickly north
Some Ferraris look great in red but it is generally a bit overdone and a bit of a cliche, a different colour takes the edge off that considerably and the interior is very classy, in fact I would like to see some in dowdier shades, perhaps even a bit dirty, a bit used as sometimes ferraris can make you look a bit playboy or like the bloke near us that wears almost exclusively, Ferrari clothing, it is a car not a lifestyle or personality substitute.

Crema has always seemed an odd choice of interior to me. It is a peculiarly British thing. Rosso cars are much more likely to have black interiors in Italy & France and in the US, tan (beige in Ferrari parlance) is favoured.
Was just about to type this myself, Rosso with Crema/Magnolia Leather with red carpets seems to be the norm for UK supplied Ferraris from the mid 80s to the mid 90s. Personally I love tan/natural leather interiors, also love it for shoes, watch straps, wallets etc although I seem to be in a minority.Got offered a relatively high mile 355 Berlinetta for £28k about 5 years ago which I reckon I could have haggled on but passed as I wanted a 911, due to their reliability...
Should have bought the 355, my eventual 911 was a money pit that I lost money on in the long run. Yes I bought the wrong Porsche, I know, I know..

I paid £33,000 for mine in 2010. It was a 1995 berlinetta, yellow/black with 17,500 miles.ETA: Ignore me. The Lotus Exige 260 v Ferrari F355 link pretty much answered that for me.

I would like to appreciate this car, but the photos taken with that filter (either a lens filter or via post processing) make me think it probably doesn't look that impressive in real life.
Where are the real photos?
Its called 'HDR' and is a method of ruining an otherwise nice picture.Where are the real photos?
Lovelly motor. Probably just me but im not a fan of the (what i concider) cliche Red/Cream combo, id much rather have the more oddball grey and brown of this one.

shame I can't afford a 355 these days, 348 is doable but I've heard a few people complain about them being pretty "difficult" to own.
I'm not convinced about the "value" of 355s just yet, I know they're being touted at quite ridiculous prices but would be more interested to see what they are actually selling for and in what timeframe. The upcoming auction at Silverstone with the 2 spiders will tell!I got 32k for my 97 Red/Black GTB 10-11 years ago against a 360CS (also Red with Red/Black) - has to be Red
