Hye there

I'm quite surprised to see that most of the "mass product" FERRARI are twice the price in UK. For exemple, this clean LHD 355 GTB could be pourchasse in France for some 55/65 k€.
By the way, used FERRARI prices have uggely increased since 2 or 3 years on PH, and it make me smile to think that some one could pay a 75K £ for a 308 GTS, just like kind of joke !

I'm not convinced about the "value" of 355s just yet, I know they're being touted at quite ridiculous prices but would be more interested to see what they are actually selling for and in what timeframe.
True, but it does seem that dealers are holding out for highter prices at the moment and they can probably drive the price up enough to justify holding them as stock cars if they bought them at a low enough point in the market.

Keep looking at Ferarris and being told they are not as bad to own as people make out, with a mooted £2k a year to keep on the road that is absolutely no worse than Porsche ownership (if you're an owner who looks after your car that is). Thing is how realistic is £2k a year for a 348 or if I managed to find a 355 in budget?

The most fantastic colour combination! In actual fact, this is the car that I was most drawn to when looking at 355's a couple of days ago. If only it was rhd, meh, I'm sure I could live with it!

The 355 gets my vote for the best sounding road going V8 ever produced, I would buy for thay reason alone!

I'm not sure about that, but it is certainly nicer than the 456. I was stood near one 'going for it' the other day, and I was very underwhelmed. Especially as its predecessor, the F430 (more so the Scud) was one of the nicest sounding cars of all time IMO.

360 looks prettier to these eyes I'm afraid.
I have to agree, and that would be my choice if I were stumping my money up - this 355 is a lovely thing though, that colour is superb.

Beautiful car in a nice colour combination.

Five years ago, to get my first house deposit up to what I needed I had to sell my S1 Elise - when it sold, along with my savings I briefly had £5 more in the bank than the cheapest F355 on Auto Trader. I knew it could never afford to run it, maintain it, insure it, tax it (or even fill the tank!) and the car was most likely a thrashed, devoid of history, previously crashed, worn out Italian pup. Even so, for the briefest of moments I thought 'I could own an F355...'

With a Capristo exhaust it's unbelievable! That 5v head design makes for such a visceral sound above 5k. In comprasion the later V8's sound almost manufactured, no where near as organic.

I had a 355 with a Tubi exhaust and yes it sounded fantastic but nothing in comparison to my 360CS at full tilt, sorry but that was just spine-tingling. Don't get me wrong I loved my 355 but I would not pay the same money now for one as a 430!

Need to compare apples to apples really. Here's a Scud with an X-pipe - the regular F430 sounds the same once the exhaust is changed for this:

I thought this 355 looked familiar, I was in Dick Lovett at the weekend and looked at this car. It is a very nice combination but for some reason lost a bit of its 355ness. Not sure why, maybe some of the 355 curves are diluted.
There was an amazing selection of cars to look at - Enzo, F50, Scuds, and a few classics. Well worth a trip.

S*** brown and black, not my idea of a Ferrari interior, love the cream leather, outside colour is great however.

This is no doubt a beautiful car, and sorely tempting, but the pictures are quite heavily filtered/manipulated...I find it a bit off putting. Other cars on their site aren't displayed like this so it's a bit odd IMO.

The F355 sounds best with a Capristo exhaust!!

Standard exhaust (really nice but much quieter than any sports exhaust - maybe not a bad thing!). Tubi (nice but very boomy). Tubi Evolution (bit less boomy and when the value open quite a hard noise, still nice though!).

Capristo exhaust - at full chat sounds epic! At lower revs it's not much louder than standard (just sounds a bit more powerful but not boomy at all), when the valve opens it's very loud but what a noise !! Not sure why, maybe because a 5 valve motor the F355 sounds different to any other V8 Fezza, perfection!

All time fave Ferrari but I'd quite fancy mine in yellow. Perhaps I'm approaching that midlife crisis period of my life...
