Had one of these as a curtesy car once for two days. Made a short review over on Finalgear:

Jazz - fine little car, still sells in droves. All new model out in a few months
Civic - New model launched. Type R due soon. Earth Dreams DTEC class leading. Suspension upgrade to Sport range have made the handling on a par with best in family car market.
CRV - 1.6 DTEC with 9 speed auto is a revelation. Quality levels better than German competitors. New model just released
HR-V - all new compact SUV. What Cars' most anticipated launch of 2015. Enquiries suggest it will be a hugely popular car in this sector. Most enquires so far are from young professional/young family's looking for something different with exceptional quality.
NSX - need I say more?
The part-exchanges I see at our dealership would seem to suggest that Honda's German Brand customer capture aims are already bearing fruit. The wide demographic of customers is proof positive of the reality of Honda UK compared to the George and Mildred stereotypes that the ill-informed knock about in order to achieve a cheap laugh.

Granted, Honda took their eye off the ball, but to say the current line up is stagnant is laughable.
Unwanted for a reason, just a horrible thing to look at and I'd struggle to come up with anything more dull to own. The interiors look like someone threw up on them and the colour stuck, and the dash looks like it was borrowed from a 1970's washing machine.

Well, apart from the inconvenient fact that the current lineup is stagnant, and has been for a long time. To go through your list, as of right now:
Jazz - 2008 model
Civic - facelift of 2011/12 model
CR-V - facelift of 2011 model
'new' HR-V - not out yet, but will be based on a model that's been on sale in Japan since 2013
NSX - not out yet
So, good try, but your admission that Honda took its eye off the ball is perhaps the most accurate point in your post.
Had one (3L, 4-door auto) for some years. If you are not interested in going around corners fast or steering feel (yes, of course you are, and I now have a BMW 530i) it offers huge bang for your buck in terms of comfort and rear seat room. A near neighbour of mine still has a 3L 5-spd manual. Good idea, because the auto box in the pre-2003 V6 Accord is the very, very weak link.

Ummed and arred about having the cambelt done, or just waiting till it grenaded, and booked it in (now) at local Honda main dealer, for the fixed price job, £210 all in, so it will probably now run for another 136,000 miles, (or do something else catastrophic when I pick it up next Wednesday !
