...checked oil and water, fine, stuck the jump leads up and she fired up (apparently she's been in the hedge for at least 3 years - recent house move).

Seems to idle fine for the first minute or two, but then it starts to idle erratically when warm. Any ideas? I'm thinking automatic choke is stuck maybe?

She can move under her own steam, but will cut out if the throttle isn't pressed.

31k miles from new.

No idea what I'm going to do with it yet. Ideas welcome smile

If you spend a couple of hundred quid fixing that up, it could perhaps be worth as much as a couple of hundred quid.

Wash it

Or put it on ebay with pics as it is saying "hedge find"

Make a change from all the faux "barn finds"

if there is nothing major wrong, spending a few summer afternoons on her and get her running again might be a interesting project

Fresh fuel first I'd say. Maybe invest a 'fortune' (probably about 10 quid) on a new fuel filter..

Serious answer - did you put new petrol in, it might not run very well on 3 yr old fuel.

PH answer. Take some photos with your Mrs/daughter/friend draped over it, put it on ebay, say it's very green, like a Prius, use Barn Find a few times, mention that it's rare and a rising classic, low mileage, 1 lady vicar owned etc, £3000 reserve. Job done!

If no one buys it, scrap it!
