Ha, bringing back some memories since my post above. Oddly enough I only heard you Lee the other day when my daughter was going through my YouTube videos. You were driving my Elise through the high speed bend at North Weald yelling "we're still alive" or something similar biggrin

No 2 Fury's are even remotely the same though, and I estimate there is maybe 600 furys in existence out there??
When I was talking to Steve Hughes a couple of years ago he said they'd made over 900 kits. A lot of those were race-only builds, and I guess a lot never get finished.

Consider that Koenigsegg have built less than 200 cars in total.

I built mine 5 years ago. A little more civilised than my Westfield, but with similar performance. Love it driving

+1 to that, it does!

Moar pichers reqd I think, to emphasise the pure-fun element. These from a day-out, 300mile jaunt round mid-wales a couple of weeks ago with Hammerhead (who cheated ...with air-con and ...comfy seats)

Dam fine outing:

Satnav? - only the manual, paper option ticked (thanks HH for pic):

Tony Hart, I've just bought a Fury R1 and I'm based in Woking so have been trying to contact you as a local Fury owner, your profile doesn't accept emails so perhaps you could contact me on here please?

Please forgive the aside, but how are Fury for drivers of a more 'generous' proportion? I have always liked the Fury and some of the cars in this thread are gorgeous. I'd love one with a supercharged BMW M42 engine. cloud9

I couldn't fit into a standard Westfield width-wise, it was so tight that the belt buckles were causing me too much pain , so I tried (and bought) a Fury Spyder instead which has a huge cockpit in comparison. The main issue I had with mine was the actual GRP bucket seats that were in it, which were too narrow to get my butt into, but once I replaced them with Cobra Roadster seats which are far more comfortable and soft and allow plenty of hip / butt space I've found the car very comfortable with plenty of elbow and leg space. The pedal area is quite small so I have to wear very narrow shows.

The GRP seats were a bit like the image below , so they pinned you right in place assuming you could actually fit into them, but I couldn't smile

The car I bought (which was in Scotland) is actually the green and yellow one shown on Fury's magazine advert in the kit car mags , and I found a tiny little picture of it on the web that must have been from a few years ago before I owned it. I've practically rebuilt most of it so under the skin its now quite different , but it looks basically the same on the outside.

20" across shoulders and 12st10 - Furys fit just fine as pictured above; so much better than 7s, and no bruise on the back of the right scapula!

Other than trying the PH search not really I regret to say. Best of luck.
