I must admit I'd have been tempted to do the same thing as the cyclist. The driver is a moron of the highest order.

Everyone say that while the driver should not have thrown the litter out the window the cyclist is only provoking a situation by throwing it back into the drivers car.

Yes, I'd have been tempted to do it but I wouldn't actually have done because I have a certain degree of common sense and self preservation.

Or to put it another way, I'm a wimp. hehe

Driver should be charged with littering and penalised to the full extent of the law.
However, the cyclist also deserves what he gets for being an interfering, sanctimonious pcensoredk.

Seriously, what is wrong with some people?! Would the same person have picked up the litter and thrown it at the person if they'd seen it happen in the high street? I'd hazard a guess at not as they'd likely get filled in.

Morons come in all shapes and sizes and by the looks of the video they either wear a white t-shirt and cap OR Lycra.

I suspect that the responses to this are mostly going to be driven by the modes of transport being used by the two people involved.

Cyclist thinks he is a Police Officer and decides to take the law in his own hands, what a surprise! Get back in your box cyclist.

laugh

I think both are at fault, the cyclist over reacted, probably because (like we all do) you hate drivers when you're on a bike and want to take revenge. The driver on the other hand has just realized how much of an ass he is and is acting on his emotions wrongly.

Love these cycling videos

Pity it is not the norm in such a way that will force litter droppers to not do it. Loathsome activity.

"I just thought for some reason in my head I should be confronting this person. I wasn't intending it in a very aggressive way."

When idiots collide. However, in the fairest sense of the law, the cyclist has admittedly committed the most minor common assault you could imagine and by taking the footage to the police, he's given them the evidence of him committing the offence. I hate to see people littering out of their cars, but videoing yourself throwing it back through the driver's car window is the height of silliness.

I hope the police charge the knobhead on the bike. That is clearly common assault. A fairoutcome would be a littering fine for the Corsa driver and a caution for the sanctimonious on the bike.

If you do stuff like that you surely do so knowing they might start throwing their their fists about, and you need to have something to back it up and not st yourself like a little girl when they do. Little pussy.

With less and less police out on our streets people will increasingly have to challenge others when they do stuff like dropping litre. If we don't do this things are only going to get worse.
It is OUR country after all.

What a hilarious video. Cyclist literally crapping himself when the blatantly obvious occurs when he randomly confronts a Ned.

But on the other side, what a great pair of tits the driver had!

As ever with these sort of incidents, the phrase 'they both deserve each other' always seems to apply.
