Aye it's nice enough. It doesn't look like a major departure from the old one.

Certainly better looking than any of the other cars in this class to my eyes but then so was the old one... I can't help but feel that it's too safe in terms of styling for this class.

This is great.

As soon as this is launched and all those 3 year lease deals get returned to Jaguar I should be able to afford to park my ass in a facelift 3.0 S Portfolio.

Go to love a new model when all you want is the old one.

How does Gabby Logan know how wide my thumb is?

I think it looks smashing though, similar enough to the old XF but also there are plenty of differences. It looks significantly sleeker, like a jaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggg should. Very excited to see how it drives and, of course, excitedly await an RS version.

Indeed another colour though, not stupid white!

Styling-wise it's a bit sharper, definitely an improvement, but kind of boring with it. I can see Jaguar turning into AM, spawning car after car that look the same.

Rather smart that white one. Acres of black plastic on the dash looks very low rent though. A slab of wood would do wonders.

On the Ian Callum video did anyone notice the new engine - or at least badge - 3.5t on the rear of the black car?

I assume this is one of the new ingenium powerplants?

What's new about it? Looks very much like the last one.

Hmm, I thought the Ingenuim engines were based around common cylinder dimensions which gave 500cc per cylinder. That would make it a 7 cylinder engine. hehe

Well the XE 20t doesn't get an extra cylinder when you get the 240bhp 25t model...

Ah so it's probably the high pressure turbo version of the 3.0 V6? Good to see Jaguar copying the Germans when it comes to daft model designations. biggrin

In my opinion that is class leading exterior styling.

I'm not sure about the Ghibli. Not a particularly good car and uglier than the older Masers. I think the XF looks brilliant and a lot better than a 5 series. If it beats it on the road then a clear winner for me.
