May needs to tread carefully. In the nanny BBC/Lefty state we live in, that could get him sacked too.
all 3 of them are out of contract for TG i believe May is very entertaining on Twitter. His bio has already been changed to "Former TV presenter"

Now watch the BBC licence fee rise to compensate for loss of revenue.
The fantastic thing about the TV license is that you don't have to buy one.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

If you own a TV that is capable of receiving broadcasts, you do ....
Nope, only if you watch live broadcasts. Why anyone would bother watching live TV these days is beyond me. However that's academic in my case as I live in a country that doesn't require you to pay to do so.

The fantastic thing about the TV license is that you don't have to buy one.you only need a license if you watch or record live broadcast (UK) TV, that includes live net stream's
you do not need it for catchup tv or any other form of media

Perhaps Quentin Willson will be back. After all the BBC do have a habit of re-employing presenters. Personally I would like to see someone like Anthony Davidson or Ben Collins in the "hot"seat.
Quentin Willson, David Dickinson and Ann WiddecombeThey would have gone with james cordon but fortunately his extradition to the US has gone through and we are shot of the prick

"Reporters outside my house: if you're going to hang around on small streets with your car engines idling all day, don't buy a bloody diesel."
Just sayin'
Hang on, if there's one thing I've learned from the 'drive petrol not diesel' thread it's that modern diesels are whisper smooth and not clattery or agricultural in the slightest. James May must be mistaken."Reporters outside my house: if you're going to hang around on small streets with your car engines idling all day, don't buy a bloody diesel."
Just sayin'

Being sacked for a sustained assault on a work colleague is hardly a signifier of a nanny state - just a normal, civilised one.I like JC and Top Gear, but that behaviour is inexcusable at the best of times - especially if, as we are lead to believe, it was over something as trivial as poor catering.
