Unusually for me, I nominate a car I've never driven purely on the basis of nostalgia and how beautiful it is:

Though if we're being realistic then most likely one of these two biggrin

Wow a lovely choice of cars there! I love Astons and 90s Peugeots/Citroens!

Another car I'd happily have would be a Discovery 2. biggrin

1989, such a lot of choice but I'll go with this (having actually owned one):

I've just realised that people born in 1998 can now drive redface, scary thought.

You saved me the bother of finding a picture. Launched a couple of months before I was born. I think there was a waiting list, so probably not available in 1970.

My wife's new car which we bought in Barcelona and happens to have the same birth year as me.
Excellent! How are you finding it?
Only just had it delivered, Drove it to the MOT station where it passed first time. Now waiting for DVLA to issue us with a number plate. The car is my wife's dream car and is beautiful.

Well, I did it. I started looking at 911s of the '74 vintage, last year, to celebrate my 40th. Missed the boat on "lowish" prices and good examples. money no object, it would be a 911s for me.

I did end up buying something as said, that is even more special for me. comes with MG heritage certificate and came off the production line not only on my year of birth, but on the exact date. So we have just had our 2nd birthday together:
