Yes, being a weekday, the MOD have control over the area beyond the public access area at the west end by the village.

Shame they don't want to take it there a few weeks earlier, as it's close enough to the 90th anniversary and I'm sure the VHRA would have welcomed them run it a bit faster if they wanted to during their weekend event on the sands as they have access to a lot more beach for this
