I still find the FN civic to be a modern design and often forget there's a newer model out. These were 06 also.

I drive Mrs V.'s 57 plate Mitsubishi i-Car to Tesco and I've been asked by other people what car it is and how futuristic it looks. It helps that it has a vanity plate (donated by my dad) and gets the SuperVikingPolishSealantTreatment.

The e46 3 series. Not sure how old that is now. 1999/2000 perhaps? Somebody will be along soon to correct me.

Bmw e60. Hard to believe the oldest ones are 12 years old. They are very spec dependant though, although I would happily have an early se on small alloys, they look rubbish compared to the msport versions.

Eta: although only 8 years older than the early e60s, my e34 looks wayyyy older than 20.

Beetles and minis, the newish ones from like a decade ago and still look fresh and undated. Saw a x reg silver bug today and thought that looks new, same with a blue cooper s with a white roof, for some reason they haven't dated at all, maybe they are timeless designs

I have a manual 530i E60 registered in October 2003. I got it with those 'small alloys' (16") but now use them for my winter tyres and have a set of BMW M SPort 18" alloys for the rest of the time. In met. dark green, I still think it looks very modern and is now approaching being 13 years old !

BTW, I too have a Triumph, a 1970 Stag, which is currently at its second home, the welders. I've owned a 2500 PI. That went like stink !!

Peugeot 607 came out in 99. Still wouldn't look out of place next to modern stuff / on the back of an AA truck.

Citroen c6 still looks futuristic imo. Came out in 05.

I'd also like to nominate the mk 4 Supra, either 92 or 93 I can't remember.

High spec mk5 Astras loo pretty modern. The first ones were 04 plate.

E60 BMW and Audi A2 are very good examples. The mk4 Golf has some new cues but the headlights don't quite look brand new.

Mazda RX8?

I also think the final facelift MG ZS saloons manage it too.

To be fair, that's because Audi haven't really changed their styling for decades. You can even fit the "gappy grille" and LED DRLs to older models if you want ...
