"Straight line" is a bit of a moot point though. The 8/6/420ti's were hilariously torqusteertastic.

Whilst not the best example of a Q car, I certainly don't think it's the worst:

4.0 V8 with a manual gearbox and LSD. Still producing it's quoted 283bhp and apparently can do 0-60 in 6.3 seconds but I rarely get involved with traffic light Grand Prixs as it really comes into it's own once on the move.
Would look even more Q with a dent in the door and some rust so make it look a little more 'council'
True story. But I wouldn't want so much damage that it gets declared a write off. That would be just awful.
Mine was a slightly rusty silver one with no spoiler and good olde cross spokes. Was fun letting it loose on unsuspecting modern cars who obviously had it figured for an old 520... wink
Nice! biglaugh

I'd quite like to get rid of towbar and sort out a couple of bits on the bodywork. Mechanically it's completely sound though.

Was yours a manual too?

The Rover 200vi would be an ok one:

My grandmother had a 1.1 that looked very similar to this, but these were a lot more powerful than that.

The early Mazda 3 MPS without the aero kit looked pretty boggo, but was 250-odd hp.
