Totally agree. The Nissan driver is a weapons grade bell end. If he pulled in before the GTR appeared, he'd have been well within 2 seconds of the camera car and placed himself into the blind spot of the Zafira which is indicating right ffs and has within a second completed it's own maneuver.

90% sure the OP meant it in a "if I had been the insignia, I would have had evidence against the ahole in the GTR, had there been a collision" rather than so he can put the footage on youtube.

The GTR driver should be in jail. If you disagree with that, you haven't got any imagination or intelligence.
Try this - imagine the driver of the Insignia is your 17 year old daughter and is learning to use the motorway. Imagine she coughs or sneezes at the moment the GTR decides to anchor on in front of her. One dead young woman and probably serious injuries to plenty of others following behind.
Seriously, people, if you feel any urge to defend the GTR driver or wouldn't report him, you should get some advanced driv my training or hand in you licence. Criminal behaviour.

How far back do we need to check the Insignia driver's behaviour to ensure he is completely blameless? I would suggest 1983. Unless he can provide countersigned photographic evidence of his good character he's partially or wholly to blame.LittleEnus said:

yes no one was hurt THIS TIME. Lets be honest if that's the consistent driving habits of the GTR driver than its a matter of when not if. The problem isn't this occasion- its what happens in the future- that was very very close to being a fatal accident.
Look - it 's bad driving but nothing unusual. I doubt if it would have been posted at all if a GTR had not been involved . Did the OP experience the teeniest regret that there wasn't a shunt-nobody hurt , bent metal galore- so as to indulge himself even more , witness a drama unfolding before him sort of thing ? Dash cam is fine if you are crash for cashed etc but this sort of small minded holier than thou voyeurism speaks volumes more for the dash cammer than the drivers doesn't it ? All a bit Neighbourhood watch for me thanks - Sir sir look at what the bad boy did sir..
