Makes you wonder what took place prior to warrant that kind of aggression.

I would wager the Nissan driver is tired of being pulled out on and held up deliberately (it happens, don't deny it).

I'll happily admit to under taking each and every time I come across a driver in an outside lane for no good reason.

My fav is when they look at you in their rear view mirror and pull left to try and run you off the road as you pass on the inside.

You realise you'll be flipped over?

M6 Toll today https://youtu.be/mAd6ZiT84hk Sorry about the Radio 4 content, had to bleep the swearing out, and I was doing 57mph.

Could have uploaded probably 3 or 4 clips over a 900 mile trip to Scotland this week but I don't want to be some sort of dash cam faux-copper. It's bad, hence get a dash cam. Maybe if people realise there's a high probability they'll be recorded, they might think twice before driving badly.
Being overtaken at that speed on the hard shoulder is 'normal' to you? I've never seen anything like that ever!
I would not be surprised if that was an unmarked police car who was after someone but I may be completely wrong.

It's a 318d Exclusive and it's showing on the MID as insured - given that they self-insure, do police vehicles show up on MID, and would they really use a 318d as an unmarked car?

right I'm not going to read 10 pages as I just haven't the time.

However:

I would have posted the footage regardless of the car makes or models involved.

its not the car its the driver.

I was very glad a crash did not occur as I've had a friend who sat with a dying motorist who was trapped in his upturned car whilst I slowed traffic around the blind corner to prevent a further crash, this is not am experiance I want to repeat.

Probably a poor title choice but hey ho.

The footage is on you tube, I have not sent it to any authoraties and after the nissan and audi passed the insignia waited in lane for the zafira to be out of his blind spot then indicated and pulled into the middle lane.

Lane hogging or no lane hogging, if you get wound up enough to react like the GTR driver did then it's time to give yourself a shake.

What the neighbourhood watch that gathers info on car and motorbike thefts and helps prevent old people getting ripped off- no doubt that's "grassing" too?

I'm glad we don't live in the totally "you're on your own" badass world you want - maybe you should move to Compton LA (although sadly for you they've even cleaned that up a bit).

So ..to be clear, you think it's just fine for drivers randomly to film other road users and then publicise what they film ? I just wonder why and when did we decide to behave as though we all lived in North Korea ? We moan about speed cameras but then decide to behave as though we're all grubby little informers - it is pathetic . I hear some people now covertly film guests to their houses God help us....

Blimey, I can't understand people blaming the insignia driver.
Nissan driver did not even give him a chance.

Perhaps they've seen a car behind and are pulling over to allow an impatient small dickdriver past?

Stop talking about my micro penis you bender.

The highway code states that no action you take should interfere with other road users.

If you do, you've clearly fked up.

I don't get cut up much on the motorway, but then I don't really drive fast on them - I drive fast for fun, on the motorway I'm looking for reducing stress, fuel consumption and risk of points, there's no fun to be had.

Can't you idiots see the GTR is the more expensive car therefore he is right
If it had been a GTR driver driving normally with an Insignia driver tailgating and brake testing, people would have been criticising the Insignia driver for driving dangerously and aggressively to prove himself faster and better than the GTR driver.

Nice trolling.

I don't think you do what you wrote though, just a keyboard warrior that's all, you stirred up a few, nice try.

All sorts of things probably took place with a variety of vehicles given how the gtr appeared to be driven. It may seem like other drivers hold you up deliberately, but by and large it is probably just lack of observation not personal.

The odd thing is that if the Insignia had pulled over you would probably think that is exactly what they were doing.

I'm not above passing on the left myself, but usually give them a lot longer than two seconds to get out of the lane.

Impatient and a self appointed faux Policeman.
That's a bit silly, given the number of self appointed faux Policemen sitting in lane 2/3/4 for mile after mile.

One side of the arguement, and I wish it were the case - but doing 25k a year I've seen it all.

Not talking about people making mistakes or slightly more nervous drivers here.

You honestly don't think a level of one-upmanship takes place on the roads?

Case in point the woman I saw being undertaken by a van who then spent the next minute chasing the van across a rounabout before pulling back in front, brake testing him in the most unholy way all whilst gesticulating out of the window.
