I've realised over the years that I seem to have a road rage mentality, where I have to make people 'pay' if they do something against me. So I normally fk em up by boxing them in or whatever if its a motorway knob jockey who thought he'd intimidate me out the way. If the gtr driver did that to me I probably would have accelerated into him.

I seriously worry about anyone suggesting that the Insignia is at fault. There is less than one second between the Zafira moving into L1 and that tosspot of a GTR appearing up his arse.
I agree. I absolutely hate lane hoggers, but the Insignia driver certainly isn't one in this case. Let's face it, he barely got he chance to do anything. I'm sure the knuckle dragger driving LM09VXC is very happy with themselves.

He did nothing wrong staying in that lane, he wasn't hogging it but he held ground as i would if someone got that close, as it develops does he appear to brake test the insignia before shooting off too? I would have let him make up his mind judging by his erratic behaviour, i would have indicated left once i'd past the people carrier and moved over after a second or 2.
Yes the GTR does indeed brake test him, couldn't make it out at normal screen size but it's very clear on full screen.CoolHands said:

Learn to chill, it's not personal and nothing good will come of it Anyone suggesting the Insignia carries any responsibility whatsoever here shouldn't be allowed to breathe without supervision.
I notice one such poster is virtually a child and thus already considered high risk. The rest are either equally under experienced or just thick.
The Insignia's actions and timings were reasonable and sensible. Seeing those bellends approaching at Mach 1, the worst thing you could do is swing across lanes, particularly as there's a lot already going on with the camera vehicle and the black Zafira already moving around. A competent driver will ensure he/she knows where everyone has moved to and that there is infact a space to move into before moving.
The closing speed of the GTR tosser is completely inappropriate.
The Insignia driver's actions were well considered.

Those blaming the Insignia driver should hand in their driving credentials forthwith.
It's outrageous to even attempt to defend the two cocktrumpets whoring up lane three like that.
Neither the Insignia, the GTR or the Audi drivers deserve to be on the road. But the root cause of the problem is the Insignia. If someone wants past, let them pass. Without the fecklessness of the Insignia driver, the GTR and Audi would have just been speeding along quite safely, instead of tail gating, brake testing and passing on the nearside. It's outrageous to even attempt to defend the two cocktrumpets whoring up lane three like that.
Serious question.

personally I think the Insignia driver is the only decent one in shot,
he comes past in lane 3 and as he's completing his overtake the Zaf is indicating right, for what we don't know but chances are if someone indicates they intend to follow through be it into an empty lane or the side of an Insignia.
GTR and Audi are just a pair of bellends especially the GTR driver with that brake test.

Mainly agree. Just wondering whether, if the Insignia had indicated left, GTRKnobber might have been a bit more patient and not tailgated?
You are joking ?????? ETA I'm in no way suggesting any fault on the part of the insignia driver - I'm just wondering how, with hindsight, the situation could have been avoided.

I'll bite. You shouldn't be on the road if that isn't a troll post.

The Insignia has done nothing wrong.
Hmm, he's not exactly in a hurry to get out of lane 3 is he (or she)? He should have been indicating to pull back in as soon as the Zafira pulled over, and had they bothered to glance in their rear view mirror they would have seen the utter tit in the GTR approaching rapidly. There's no excuse for the aggressive driving at all, it's proper knuckle dragging stuff, but the Insignia driver is clearly not paying attention.
