Meh. Is that all? There are a couple of scruffy looking individuals local to me who I regularly see driving along while rolling a cigarette with both hands, steering with their wrists on top of the wheel, FFS.

Feel free to enlighten me confused

Normally I reserve me seat in advance. However, if I haven't, and If I see a free table seat I will take it. If somebody wants to sit next to me I'll quite happily let them. What I think might be excessive is me asking everybody else who boards the train if they're in a "group of 4" and whether they'd like me to move from my reserved seat in order to accommodate them.

If it's that important to anybody that they need to sit together then why not book your seats in advance?
Not all train companies offer the facility of booking a seat.

Yes, the Dandy. Dan is a hero of mine and a lot of what I know about stuff is from Dan.

Shaves with a blow torch.
Wrestles with Grizzley bears.
Uses a wrecking ball for boxing training.
Drinks far too much Owl Hoot Juice.
His cow pies, complete with horns and tail, are legendary.
He is good to his granny, who is as tough as Dan himself.
Is a supporter of APIS. ( I made that one up.)

Ha, I can just see him, thinking the person 'pushing in' is in a hurry and has good intentions, getting out his car then picking up their car and throwing it at the next junction/town much to the surprise of everyone around him biglaugh

Boarding a train that is 10% full and seeing every 4 seat table being used by a solitary person. fking annoying when travelling as a group of four.
Annoying for you perhaps but not "knob" surely? Why is a single traveler any less entitled to a table seat?
Ah one of the 'entitled' generation who have forgotten manners or the concept of common sense.

Kindoff related..

On a busy commuter train Monday morning a couple get on further up the carriage and the wife has a total whinge about there not being two seats together. She went full spectrum:

Outrageous as she (her husband probably) had paid a lot for this trip.
They should put special trains on for people like her, when others were commuting to work.
Everybody in this carriage must be stupid to put up with this everyday.

As she worked through her task of insulting everyone on the train, my thought process went as follows:
High maintenance
What a dosey twit
Whoa!, if she keeps on someone on THAT table is going to loose it.

Then she realised she had left her water bottle at home and berated he husband for not checking she had it/reminding her/using his brain, and I suddenly felt total sympathy for the poor sod and his obvious lack of cajones.

I wonder what car she drives? Probably an Evoque.

Fair enough. In which case try to get there early or just put up with not sitting together. It's not usually the end of the world and it's not the fault of somebody who got there before you did, If it's really important you could always explain to them why you need to sit together and they might move.

Getting there early is really only an option if you are getting on at the station where the rain is starting its journey, but yes, in those circumstances I absolutely agree - get up earlier.

Van drivers of Edinburgh who've effectively wiped out my NCB in 4 years due to their filthy, tttish ways. Take some responsibility for your actions you fking s.

Happened again a few days ago, had my car less than a month and some prick in a rusty white LWB sprinter shoves his POS in a space behind me which was barely big enough for a micra. £600+ damage to my bumper and he drives off like the scum he is.

Found him in the next street today though.... have pointed the police towards him so lets hope he gets a knock on his door and a call from his insurance company, if he has one yes

Cyclists who leave the scene of a collision are as bad as hit and run drivers.

Silly cow in the Nissan Joke this morning who entered the DC from a slip road and nearly wiped out the car in L1 before immediately forcing me to slam on the breaks whilst she forced her way into L2 in front of me (without so much as indicating) like her life depended on it.

Not satisfied enough her knobishness so far; she then decides she's in no rush and proceeds to drive at about 45 MPH. Meaning she's now blocking off L2 with traffic undertaking in L1.

Then another Nissan Joke makes an appearance as knob of the day #2 by being parked over 2 different bays in and already limited car park.

people that don't reserve seats on transport and then complain they didn't get the seats they wanted.
