Having now had two speed camera convictions, It's just not worth the hassle of another.
I always slow down. (along with everyone else on that stretch of road.)
They're always set at the limit or a few mph above though, what does slowing down to 10 mph below the limit get you, other than tailgated?
As I said, the majority of drivers slow down when approaching a camera. I think it is a conditioned reflex for most motorists. There is no tailgating, but a smooth and reasurring passage past the speed trap and no letters dropping on the mat.
But why in the name of Judas Iscariot's bumboy do people slow down to 10mph under the limit? That's just fking retarded.

Reasurrance. Please refrain from bringing religion into a discussion about speed cameras. Amen.

Seriously, that I am driving safely at just below the speed limit, passing the camera and not getting that bowel liquidisation moment of a camera flash in my RV mirror. No ticket, no points, no hassle.
continue with my journey.....

Just below? 10 mph is not just below. "driving safely just below the speed limit"? What kind of stheap do people buy that they don't trust the speedometer by that degree? How do they feel about their brakes? Or the airbags? Will the seatbelts work? Should I even leave the house?

Seriously. (how else), The things you mention have nowt to do with coasting past a speed camera safe in the knowledge that a ticket wll not be forthcoming.

Drivers who park on bridges over dual carriageways or motorways..

Unless your an official camera van or traffic cop or have some other justifiable reason for being there, why would you do that? What's the appeal?

After a bit of shopping (parked in disabled bays without a badge), when asked to move then parks on zigzags till Mrs returns. At this point, rather than simply driving away, decides to slowly reverse (wrong way down a one way street) over a zebra crossing and bump into 2 pedestrians in the process. Eventually admits defeat and goes on merry way.

You sir, are an utter tool.

People who don't get a courtesy car, or moan because its a lesser car, than the one they have in for repair \ servicing. First world problems.

Horrible fat cow in front of me at petrol station pay kiosk, arguing with cashier. Followed her out onto main road, at first junction she opened her window and jettisoned all her rubbish onto the road and drove off... Clearly didn't see the brightly coloured and huge rubbish bins on the forecourt.
AND she had a Christian "fish" sticker on the back of her Mondeo

The throbber driving the white BMW at the very end of the M11/onto the North Circular at about 10-20mph with his hazards on...because the nearside rear tyre was not only flat but delaminated (Formula 1 stylee). I hope the carcass flailing around has done expensive damage to the wheelarch.

so a fellow motorist experiences a puncture, exits the motorway and you wish him more grief because he affected your life how?

They should be grateful for a car at all! I can however understand if the car is off the road long term (say more than a week), but for a day or two, people should not complain!

What's that all about? They advertising that they're holier or better than me somehow?

I remember when I was young that all the difficult people at work and anywhere else always seem to be church elders or born again christians often driving 'fish' cars.

Where i lived in Kilmarnock, they used to have an unofficial thing called the Streets and Watching committee run by what we call 'holy wullies' who would just observe the streets and report you the authorities for anything you did that they didn't agree with and quite often at their own expense when it was realised who was doing the reporting... Revenge is always best when its cold!

The "fish" is the universal symbol of christianity......not "born again christians"
And I'm an atheist.......so not sure as to the purpose of said fish, but as has been mentioned, most of these "christians" shouldn't even be on the road smile

Driver of the Aygo glued to my back bumper this evening. Guess what? He was on his phone! shoot

I then pulled in for fuel and rejoining the A1,I noticed the same car driving slowly (no more than 40mph and continually straddling the white lines.
I give him a warning toot as I passed, which had absolutely no affect as the stupid tosser was glued to his fking phone. banghead tt

Arrogant tosser in the RRS who was driving way too fast through the torrential rain and standing water today.
He threw up huge columns of water, drenching oncoming cars as he ploughed on regardless. He nearly lost control a couple of times as well
He compounded his knobbery by trying, deliberately I'd say, to soak two sets of pedestrians.

Most go at glacial speed, when surely they should be HAPPY to speed like crazy, crash & die in a fiery wreck, to meet their sky fairy that much sooner smile
