Some chap who looked like he was on his way to see Jeremy Kyle in a Mazda 6, tailgated me ridiculously closely, despite me being in the flow of traffic that was going the speed limit, so couldn't go faster. He then used the wrong lane to overtook and ended up in front of me, I was then a knob to him, he didn't like it at all, so not sure why he does it to everyone else.

Also a bus, forced his way out of a junction and nearly hit the side of me, I gave him a beep, then I hear a bloody long beep behind as he forced the Nissan Juke behind me to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision. He wasn't waiting ages, I was the first car he had to give way to, the Juke being the second, but he decided not to wait 10 seconds, didn't even come to a complete stop.
I nominate you for acting like a knob in the first story and then failing to let out a bus then moaning about it.
Can we nominate from Knob of the year? Then I'd vote for ORD.

That bus driver was the knob, not carlove.

I could see him approaching the junction but couldn't really slow for him, I just expected him to give way like the other bus drivers who use that junction, if he had been waiting for ages I could see why he'd force his way out, I would have let him out if he had been waiting a while, I have done before at this junction. The Juke probably should have seen it coming, especially as she'd have seen him nearly hit me.

As a rule I always let bus drivers out of bus stops and if I can side roads, the bus drivers here do tend to wait until it's safe to pull out, this is the first time I've seen a bus driver do this.

This has made me think of another knob, was a month or so ago now, I'd stopped to let a bus out of a bus stop (was one of the layby bus stops) during stop/start traffic, for some reason the car behind me honked at me for doing so, if I remember right was a Ford Puma that had been tailgating me before we hit traffic.

Fair enough. I apologise.
As for your final para, that is fairly common in some parts of London. It's infuriating. It shows that the person (a) knows nothing about the Highway Code and/or (b) doesn't look beyond the bumper of the car in front.

It can be quite funny driving behind someone and watching for when they finally notice a hazard in front of them. It seems that most drivers just fixate on the car in front and how it is getting in their way.

There was a sizeable prang on the Northbound M40 on Saturday. Van in the hedge, earlier Air Ambulabnce visit, three fire engines, you get the picture. I was on my way north to visit Lady Ace's family and was caught in the slow traffic as a result of this.

It got to the point where the lane closure began and everyone was merging in turn with lane 2. Everything went swimmingly with lots of patience and understanding all around, all apart from the blue veined teary eyed custard chucker in the debadged black audi, covered in performance bits to make it look like an s3, who took great offense at rule 134 of the highway code, accelerated hard to stop me merging, flipped his middle finder at me and then stayed st a proctologist's distance to the car in front.

We pass the obstruction and he pops out straight to the outside lane in a cloud of 1.6 tdi smoke attempting to make progress before realising the the car he is shamefacedly trying to taunt to go faster was in fact a REAL M3 and with a howl that thrilled my ears but shrivelled Mr TDI's testicles, took off towards Oxford at a prodigious rate of knots.

Sir, may molten lead fill your bones and may your pizzle never rise.

Driving out of Coventry on the Kenilworth Road towards the A45. At the Memorial Park there's a traffic light controlled T-junction where Leamington Road comes in from the left. Just as the lights go green, a car pulls straight out of the road on the left in front of me and heads off in my direction. Their red light must've been red for at least five seconds.

A short way down the road, there's another light-controlled T-junction (a right turn). This is on red as well. The road becomes two lanes, one for straight on, one for turning right. Said car takes the right lane, drives straight through the red light and across the traffic and tootles off towards Earlsdon without a care in the world.

Not weaving around, speeding, driving too slowly or anything. Simply no comprehension of what red lights actually mean. So if you're in that area and see a bronze metallic Scorpio with a private plate that ends in 300Y, keep well clear.

People who think that commencing indication and commencing lane change in the exact same split second is acceptable practice. Particularly on a busy but relatively fast-flowing M9.

If you were driving an F type near West Mids Safari park today, you are an utter tt.

Yes, I was going under the speed limit. There were cars in front of me who were too. Speeding up so hard behind me I actually thought you were going to hit me, then braking and doing it again repeatedly achieved the square root of fk all.
you should have pulled your handbrake on at the right moment and got a few thou for whiplash.
I'm usually against 'cash for crash' mentality. However, if you're going to use your car as a weapon on the roads then you get what you deserve...

They really need to start psychological profiling on drivers every 5 years hehe

anyone I overtake on dual or mway whilst I am towing a caravan. Your going too slowly. FFS if caravan can overtake you.

Towing a caravan and still Being able to pull away at lights in lane 1 faster then the car in lane 2.

Anyone who still calls lane 2 or 3 fast lanes or overtaking lanes......

Holy mother - just watched that. What an absolute cock socket. Always hilarious watching a "tough" guy telling someone repeatedly that he's going to "floor" them or whatever. How about getting on with it or fking off?!

Reading the comments on Youtube, looks like the internet detectives have already found out his name, his business and his home address! Reminds me of the Bath road rage couple. Didn't they end up shutting down their business because of the storm their road rage video caused? Wonder if this guy will live to regret it in the same way......

The funniest thing is, someone's noticed on his Twitter account he's photographed himself on his glass weighing scales, and you can see his Chipolata...

If he were driving a liveried up company vehicle and was representing the firm at the time then yes but lambasting a business because they employ someone who is an arse in his own time is out of order.

Knobbish in the lowest sense of the word. rolleyes
