For me, what makes me think 'knob.'...people who don't know how to drive in order to make SAFE progress...typically these are the same people who haven't quite succeeded in life.
So accelerating to make a risky run through an amber light when you could easily have stopped is your definition of "SAFE"?You did say "always".
Honestly you are yet another tool to put on the avoid list.
See quite a few of these recently, seem to feel entitled to go through the junction, feeling they're owed the time spent waiting while their lights were green.

You did say you "always" do it, I don't think it's beyond the realms of reasonableness to assume that not every amber light is safe to drive through.
Or are you claiming that every amber light is, in fact, safe to drive through?
If you're driving through an amber light why wouldn't it be safe? Or are you claiming that every amber light is, in fact, safe to drive through?

They're a great way to spot drivers who are less likely to be paying attention!
+1I don't drive like a knob in either car. I have the seven seater because I choose too as the space is needed.
All those who mock, your time will come!
(I agree that a lot of people carriers are driven badly)

Ummmm. No. I will never own a people carrier. Nor a lifestyle SUV.I don't drive like a knob in either car. I have the seven seater because I choose too as the space is needed.

I'm not going to have any more kids, and I can hire a van if I need to shift loads.
Stickers such as these.
Usually signifies a driver who will deliberately provoke situations so they can put them on youtube / forums - and / or a driver who seems to have a disproportionate amount of run-ins with others, due to their 'I'm right, you're wrong' attitude to driving and complete lack of forward planning and defensive driving skills.

I'd like to nominate a neighbour in the next street, who reckons that right now is a great time to be setting off fireworks. fking tit.
They done it before and its the usual story, only set off 6 or so rockets with a massive bang then that's it. But why the fk in August? Or any other time of the year that's not near Bonfire Night??
Pricks.

Trying to get home yesterday. Edinburgh. Average speed 7mph. Old woman decides to just come to a complete stop in the middle of a busy roundabout while she squinted and peered at the roadsigns. Gave her a quick beep to let her know she was holding everyone up and she tutted made a "wait there" hand gesture. Leant on the horn this time and she gets annoyed, hanging out of her window asking what my problem was. Er - YOU ARE LOVE.
I called her gods least favourite word and she finally drove off, looking offended.
I win.
The one single thing that makes me think "knob" is inconsiderate and impatient drivers. You can have lot of fun in cars, but why behave like and low-IQ moron?I called her gods least favourite word and she finally drove off, looking offended.

One day we will all be old and slow. And in bad weather with poor visibility, the last thing you need is a jumped up prick behind you getting irate with his horn because you have cost him 5 seconds of delay.

Our dogs are petrified of fireworks - it winds me up no end when people do this. Yeah I know, free country and all that, but it's very inconsiderate. We get tablets off the vet on bonfire night but it's always pointless as some total retard always ends up setting them off a few days either side. They done it before and its the usual story, only set off 6 or so rockets with a massive bang then that's it. 10:30 at night is definitely into "knob" territory for sure.

I don't condone OP's behaviour, but I can certainly see the frustration of being stuck behind Doris as I encounter this a few times a week. Personally, I have a rant to myself and let them get on with it, but there's nothing more annoying than being stuck behind someone crawling along on an NSL road when it's safe to go faster or doing 15 in a 30 etc....apotts said:

Just to play devils advocate - this works both ways. If you're really that unconformable/unsure whilst driving in these conditions it begs the question as to if you're a fit driver and/or why you simply don't just pull over. Crawling down a road, stopping unnecessarily and hesitation is more likely to lead to an accident than the so called "impatient" driver behind who simply wants to make progress and feels it's safe to do so. I'd also suggest that the "inconsiderate" one is the one doing well below the speed limit, hesitating and impeding traffic flow.Edited by AJXX1 on Saturday 20th August 23:29
