The s3 driver who tried to overtake me in my van as I was on a slip road exit that was a single lane, tried to squeeze inbetween me and metal reservation at the side of the road, when he realised he wouldn't fit he undertook me and another car on the hard shoulder.

Also the girl in the corsa van who started making all sorts of hand signals at me because we were both matching each other speed in an average speed camera zone and she indicated to come into my lane, I was slightly ahead and she wanted me to slow down rather than her, behind me was completely clear.

I am pretty annoyed but what do I do? I posted here to see general reaction, mostly just people taking the piss when if it was their own car they'd be round 'having a word' or hammering sausages into lawns.
I'm sure it'd be a different story if it happened to their cars. For a motoring forum I'm quite surprised.

fking lazy bds.
Were you doing 65, or were they? If it was them, 65 in a 70 is not slow. If it was you FLB.
Surely it's the lane choice he is complaining about, not the speed?

Pistonheads has such a broad membership now, that you are ultimately bound to criticize something that another person feels is normal and hence takes offence at that criticism and throws up some counter-criticisms.

For example: Using a family members blue badge for their own shopping trip.

Its all ‘How very dare you’ ;)

You're probably right. I think I'd be pretty annoyed if someone was sweeping grit onto my car though. Each to their own I guess.

Funnily enough, i watched a programme about blue badge use last night, and seeing people having their cars taken away for using their family members blue badges was quite amusing. One chap even went and got his mother in her wheelchair from home to argue he wasn't at work, but had just taken his mother to the doctors laugh

Not exactly a nob but the e36 driver that had gotten a little too frisky with the right foot on Tuesday when it had been raining all night here.

I saw blues flashing and I saw the shape and ambers of a three door e36 at a twenty degree angle. It was perched up on the armco (which has been extended to around where the arrow is on the street view) rear wheels (black thick five spoke things) dangling forlornly one side of the armco, the fronts hitched off the ground and the nose quite firmly supporting the whole thing.

He must've got a tank slapper on, over corrected and the backside must have slid up the armco and the whole car just went down it with bum in the air and the nose grinding along the road surface for a good ten metres or so.

I was heading north up the A11 yesterday on the the bit from 5 ways if you know the area.
I was over taken by a 14 plate ford pickup which if he was doing under 100 was only just. Fair enough if you want to make progress but not while you are towing a trailer.
I have expected to see you in a heap at the Thetford roundabout especially considering the speed the speed that you approached the 1 roundabout.
I initially expected to see no plate on the trailer as i thought it could have been 'borrowed' by a traveller but the plates matched.
It was grade a cock driving with a trailer as at that speed you would have no chance of correcting anything.

It's actually annoying travelling on a DC or motorway with the cruise set at 70, and the trailer combination you're overtaking is matching your speed. Bloody irritating.

Cheating bd scum who use eBay bidding app's. I have missed out on three auctions this week. All due to ten or more bids in the last two seconds by one or two bidders.

No wonder some people think self diving cars are a good idea. rolleyes

would it have made a difference if those bids had come in the last 2 or 3 minutes, and not seconds?

Six bids in the last half a second by the winning bidder. It's cheating and more than knobbish behavior.

Within the last two or three minutes would have been people bidding or maybe one last second bid because some people do that but it's easy to spot cheating scumbums using app's and ruining eBay for honest bidders.

If you'd bid the maximum you were prepared to pay in the first place then you might not have lost.

No good quibbling about Ebay and sniper apps when you don't understand the basic fundamentals.

If you know it's out, sort it ffs!
Although given the amount of work and time taken its difficult to find time in the light.

I had bid as much as it was worth to me but I consider cheating dishonest and knobbish.

Is it against eBay rules?

There you go then. You were outbid, plain and simple. Plus, it's hardly cheating when it's an avenue open to all, is it?

Most wait until MOT time, which may be weeks/months ahead.

The senile, selfish and ignorant knob in the 65 plate blue golf who drove all the way from Winchester to petersfield at 30mph. All the 20 or so knobs following him and beeping and flashing when I overtook. Thank god it's only a once a week commute.
