The Corsa Driver on the A22 in daylight who didn't spot that there was a major roundabout at the end of the road, and drove straight over it, demolishing a few small trees and ended up being halted by a lamppost on the other side. Airbags gone off, youths walking down the middle of the road, giving the game away.4 Fed cars caught them stumbling down the road looking for Crawley.

The total fknugget who followed me round Bignalls Corner R/B this morning then took outside lane of slip road to N/B A1 where, unusually for an Audi, he indicated & went straight to L2 maintaining a steady 60mph as I got to 70 in L1. I came up towards a lorry, looked in mirror & Mr Audi was still in L2 indicating right, there's no L3, with a large van behind him.

I went into L2 as he was a good 20 car lengths behind me & carried on my way in L2 still at 70 C/C engaged.

After another mile or so I had to slow due to a coach overtaking & was running at about 60 mph ready to speed up when the coach pulled in, it took a while for him to pass 3 or 4 lorries so Mr Audi, no longer indicating, caught up & seemed to want to mount the back of my car where he stayed for the next 2 or 3 miles so close I couldn't see his lights or half the bonnet!

By this time the road has become 4 lanes, before going down to 3 in Hatfield Tunnel & the coach had pulled over. I went back to 70 mph & as I came out of the tunnel Mr Audi was back in the distance, still in L3 with the van still waiting to pass.

Knob.

Jim, does your car have a sunroof?

In situations like that it has been known for people to open theirs and squirt "liquid ass" backwards a few times to repel tailgaters.

Well they aren't! Saw a police car following a car down the dual carriageway with a black, illegible plate. Didn't even pull him over.

This is a question i've always had, say if you were following a drunk driver and you felt you should call 999, do you pull over to use the phone? or do you stay behind them on the phone and risk a driving ban?
You may use your handheld phone in an emergency (or in the circumstances you describe) if not practicable to park. But drive carefully!
What? You mean you don't have your phone linked to the car by Bluetooth, and voice dialing via the posh lady who talks to you from inside the dashboard? Peasants! rolleyes

I'm guessing it's just the three counties services doing it then. Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Because to everyone outside the 'vaping community', they look like massive knob heads.

The utterly useless who did up the locknuts on Ms 16v's new MINI's wheels to the same gazillion lbs as the normal nuts.

I now have to take it back and hope they come off with their air ratchet.

Anyone of the several people around here who's personalised number plate started BO55. All knobs. One in particular, who I had a run in with is such a massive know, his knobbishness can be clearly seen from the ISS. They even saw is L320RRS crashed into the hedge on the lightest frost known to mankind.

Good shout. Had one of these 'BO55' plated jobbies cut me up exciting a roundabout in Rickmansworth Thursday.
