Firstly the van driver who turned left here but immediately went into the right hand lane, thus holding up traffic at the junction.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.1158313,-0.47739...

When I could squeeze past I took the left hand lane behind a couple of other cars. All good so far.
Until that is, the female driver of Honda Civic reg GU11YMS got involved. Although I was 3/4 of the way past her she decided to drive right up behind the van in front preventing me from merging.

Not only that she gunned the engine, and did her best to take her and my mirrors off.

You absolute fking trumpet. Serioulsy, you gained 3 metres for all of 200m until you turned off.
Did you get there quicker? Perhaps, but you'll also get to your grave quicker if you continue to drive like that you dim fking jurrasic-bint.

No, more like Delightful Parcel Delivery.
When you speak to them tomorrow, ask for the driver's name and inform them you'll be contacting the Police to report the theft. If the tracking is showing it as signed for and delivered, that is very different to it getting lost in the system. The way you have described watching the live tracking would very much suggests that it's the driver who's had it away. DPD and Interlink have cameras in their handheld scanners now and he should have taken a photo of the door of the property he delivered it to and/or have the signature of the neighbour.
Ask that this information be relayed to the local depot manager and that you'll be happy to hold off speaking to the Police until you've spoken to him/her about this matter. I'd also liaise with the company who sent the item out to you and inform them what's going on and what you think of their choice of courier.
I used to work for a company that sold high value vehicle parts online and we used to have this game on a regular basis. The amount of thieving delivery drivers was ridiculous.
I'm sure this works in theory, but when I was sent a pic of *my property* that the parcel had been left at my mid row three story townhouse looked suspiciously like a row of bins behind a block of flats.
Not sure how that helps track your parcel.

New Audi TT in 'Lease White', driving between 40-50mph on an A road, so decide to overtake. I hear there engine revving as I get half way past them, putting there foot down to increase speed, but my 13 year old diesel Czech box still gets past him no bother.
They then proceed to flash me, even thou the road is straight, clear visibility, no on coming traffic and no dangerous moves undertaken (no double white lines), I guess they just don't like being overtaken.
Ooh, so close.

Where engine?
Where foot?

Where for art thou road?

Not just Audi, come across VWs that do the same.
If you needed convincing, go on RS246. Some realaholes on there.

My Audi is going back in the summer. Even though the mirrors and indicators work on mine,

I'm not getting another, unless it's an R8.

see this thing of flashing your hazard lights everytime you change lane? I'm increasingly seeing it on my commute.

Well see the cocks that don't actually signal but just force their way into a gap that wasn't there and then flash the hazards. Does the flash mean 'thanks'? because you didn't actually ask and then were let in, you were going to cut-in in front of me regardless of my actions.

utter knobs.
I had a taxi do this to me in NE London, cut me up on purpose (looked straight at me and just pulled out right in front of me) and then flash his hazards, I though fine, so I did the biggest ash hole manuver over took and cut him up good and proper and pushed him out the way, then just flashed my hazards as did he, his expression when I flashed my hazards was priceless.

Me today.

I was in Leeds (has there ever been a positive conversation that started with that) in the wrong lane at a roundabout, stupid sat' nav'. I waved across to the lady to my right, gestured I was in the wrong lane, she tipped her head and rolled her eyes before giving me a "go ahead" signal with her right hand. I said thank you and as the lights changed sure enough she left a a gap.

Until I was past the first exit where she stomped on the throttle, closed the gap so I had to cut into a painted island to avoid a collision. Having failed to hit me she slammed on the brakes and horn.

A hundred yards later I was stopped by the Police "forcing my way off the roundabout".

I apologised, explained the situation and after being given a polite verbal warning by the officer I clarified that with hindsight I should have realised I was in Leeds and should not have for a moment relied on the kindness of others.

So next time I'm in the wrong lane I'll take the first exit and find somewhere to turn round rather than risk it. Especially if you are the "Crash for Cash" capital of the North.

I can't believe I nearly fell for it. Waving me on and then trying to ram me. As I was in the wrong road position she would have got the claim. It's almost as obvious as the ones who use to wave people out of junctions and T-boning them on purpose. rolleyes

The 66 plate McLaren, 570GT I think, that parked with a single occupant in the mother and child space at a local supermarket today. Nicely speced, flat grey, gloss black accents and wheels, orange seat belts. Lovely I thought, until I saw where he parked.

Yes, I had that particular discussion with the local depot manager a few times when I was in the logistics world. Unfortunately being a low paying job, the van drivers that are attracted to it aren't often the most motivated or indeed honest of people. Not all of them by any measure, but some were utter, utter jobsworths.

Me neither, parent and child spaces get on my t1ts. Why just because you choose not to keep it in your pants or your legs closed should you get a preferential parking space? Disabled spaces are different as being disabled is not a choice, but contributing to the over population of the planet is!

Well said, plus most of the little darlings could do with the exercise of walking across the car park by the looks of them.

You take your life in your hands walking through our Sainsbury car park, even worse if you have children and a full trolley of goods to contend with, so I can understand why they like to give them spaces to minimise the walking distance into the store.
