Hi all,

I would like to start washing my car myself, but as i live in a flat with no water/electricity in the car park, i am at a loss to where i can go in my local area.

I live in South Woodford.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Would like to avoid using the side of the road, but looks like that's the way this is going....

Tesco Extra in Gidea Park has one, so I would assume others in the area would have one too. They list it on the store finder on the website.

Have you tried some places that sell petrol?

You're welcome and if somebody out there has time and inclination, can they set up a business where I can hire a water supply and detailing correct equipment in a semi enclosed area?

This will allow me to wash my car how I like for as long as I need. Charge me around £10-15. Perhaps with online booking open 24hrs a day.

Go!

Alternatively can we set up a PH Detailing/Car Wash group where I can bring me car to somebody's house with a driveway in return for small fee?

I used to live in a city centre flat pre:Albanian car washes on every street corner.

If this was around years ago then I would have bought one.

Do not buy these:

Very poor quality. Doesn't seal properly so hard to get pressure and when you do manage to pressurise it they leak at the connectors.

In your shoes I would pop down to the local jet wash for a £1 spray and drive home to finish the car off. Buy a couple of sealed water containers to transport water downstairs.

Jet petrol station on Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow. Not too far from S.Woodford.

5 different programmes. Cheap at £3.50 for a 'number 5'.

ETA it may be a Gulf now. Anyway, it's the only petrol station on that road.

I always go for the 'number 5' for nothing else than to impress the petrol station monkey.

It's just the way I roll.
